Elephant race festival was held in Don village on dak lak provice near Serepok river .
There were 3 competions in the festival : timber-pulling,ball-kicking and elephant running
In the timber-pulling contest , each elephant with its owner tried hard to pull a big timber .The elephant reaching the finish fist was the winner
In the ball kicking contest , elephants tried to kick the balls into the goal
In the elephant running competion , the elephant with its owner had to pass through serepok river , then ran about 300 m

Last summer, my family had an amazing picnic in an eco-park. We got up early to prepare for the trip. My younger sister and I helped our mother pack up some delicious food and fruit while my father checked the car. At 6 a.m. we departed, and 2 hours later we reached our destination which is 50 km away from Hanoi. After choosing an ideal place in deep shadow, we put down blankets to rest. Lying on my back, I enjoyed delightful scenery, pure air and beautiful sounds of country birds. Surprisingly, while we were eating our picnic lunch, some lovely little birds swooped down. We fed those friendly birds with bread and watermelon. After meal, we sang aloud, laughed happily and took some photos. Early in the afternoon, we went fishing in a small river nearby. I was extremely excited as that was the first time I have tried fishing. Three hours of fishing passed by, and we were all happy with our total catch of eight fish. At nearly 5 p.m. we hurriedly gathered things to come back home. For the whole family, the outing was great fun.

Nha Trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a stunning landscapes. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach – a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands. Hon Tre is the largest of the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts’ nests.
Nha Trang is the city in hamoney: its fine weather, favorite position and friendly people bring it a cerain balance. Nha Trang is a great holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back.

First of all, each skill in English gives me a good reflex that I can apply in other subjects as well as my daily life. For example, listening skill makes me become a better listener, and speaking skill helps me to become a better communicator. Second; while I am learning English, I have to search for a lot of materials to support my knowledge as well as my skills. In parular, I listen to more English songs, watch more movies and English channels, and read more books and arles. All of them help me to approach to more sources of information; therefore, I can earn more than just my skills. Third, English is not simply a language, but there are a whole culture and concept behind it. When I first started to learn English, I spent a lot of time doing research about the Western culture and lifestyle. After a certain time, I discovered that there are a lot of useful things to learn from that. It helps me have a more open mind, and I can see the world from other perspective. In conclusion, every language has a bigger meaning than just a communicating tool. By learning English, I do not only know an international language, but I also learn a lot of things beside it.

Badminton is one kind of exercising that will make people enjoy itt. It's an easy game so everyone can play it. To play it, we need rackets and a shuttlecock. You can play badminton with your parents, your sisters or your brothers in the morning. Playing badminton has so many advantages. It is good for your healthy and it's really fun. In my opinion, living in the countryside has its own pros and cons. According to benefits, it has fresh air, quite environment and friendly neighbors. Firstly, you have a healthy life. There are no dust, no smoke and no traffic jam. The air is fresh and the rain is also very clean. You can get raging water to cook rice and certainly have and tasted meal. Secondly, living in the countryside is peacful. It is very quiet to relax after working or there are many beautiful wide fields and fresh air.Finally, there are no separations in your town. Your neighors are friendly and helpful. They are really best friends. They will help you pleasently if you have trouble. Each problem has its solution anf your neighbors will share it for you. In conclusion, I prefer to live in the countryside, but I don't want to live there permanently.
