Spending time in an English-speaking country is a really essential experience for the English-learners as well as the best way to study the language. However, I believe that there are many other strategies for learning English, which are useful enough.
In the first place, studying in an English-speaking country such as Australia gives you a variety of opportunities to improve your speaking and listening skills. Moreover, you prace your English while doing ordinary things, for instance, shopping. Consequently, you become more self-confident. Being overseas is the best way to learn the language effectively.
Secondly, providing that the learner is hard-working enough, they can learn English even in their own country. The English Language Schools provide their students with a wide range of opportunities to master the language. Furthermore, there are different methods to prace your skills such as watching English television, reading English books, magazines, etc. The combination of some of these methods might be a really useful strategy.
In conclusion, there are many advantages of living in an English-speaking country as this is the best strategy to learn the language. Nevertheless, if the student is responsible and works hard, they can achieve success in studying English not only in a country where the language is widely spoken.

Over time we live and develop, each of us will choose a unique habit. My friends have a habit of playing games on the weekends. Personally, I have a habit of reading in my free time every day. This habit of mine is formed from the shape of my hobby. Since childhood I have enjoyed reading. The types of books that I often read are books about life, manners, and economics. Ever since I could read, I have always enjoyed reading. However, when I was a kid, the kind of books I read were usually comic books. Currently, studying time is quite busy so I don’t have a fixed time for reading. However, whenever I have time I will read. I usually carry a book that I am half-reading in my bag. This ensures I can read ns anywhere and at any suitable time. I think the habit of reading has helped me improve myself a lot. In the future I will keep this useful habit. Nowadays, English is an international language, and most young people are learning this language with the hope of being able to communicate with people on over the world. Learning English is not just limited in memorizing vocabulary and grammar, but it is also a process of training and improving listening, speaking, reading, and writing skill. We should focus on these four elements, because each skill will have the necessary content to complement the other three. We improve our speaking skill if we can listen to and understand what people say; and if we can master our vocabulary and grammar, we can write and read easily. Apart from spending the time to prace, we also need to be creative in learning English. Textbooks at schools and English-teaching centers are just basic steps, so we need to be proactive in finding more resources. There are a lot of movies, music and books written in English nowadays, and we can learn a lot from them. In short, learning English is a long process, but it will be easier if we can find the right and effective ways to learn.
Nowadays, English plays an important role in our life. It's widely used all over the world and It's very interesting. There are many effective ways to learn English. For me, I have to learn vocabulary, grammar and I have to practise 4 skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.Firstly, I learn by heart the new words. I make a list and put it in the meaning in my mother language. Sometimes, I write one or two example sentences with new words in order to remember how to use the words in the right way.Secondly, I often listen to the CD, news, English songs and watch English cartoon on Disney Channel about one hour a day to improve my listening skill. Finally, I prace speaking English with my friends, my English teacher and my brother to develop my speaking skill. I spend much time studying English at school as well as at home. To sum up, I always try my best to learn English, I hope I can read, write, listen and speak better in the future.

In the past, the life was not as convenient as today. There was no modern equipments, electricity and the children didn't have to go to school,thay used to stay at home and do chores. The adult people usually worked on the farm. There weren't any motorbikes, cars or planes so the people used to travel on foot. The air was extremely fresh because there was no big factories and they were not as many as now.
I find playing online games very interesting. It can support me to feel relaxative after everyday after tired time of learning at school. I usually like to play online chess. It is exciting and challenging. It also help me to make friends online. It helps me to think over everything before acting. However, I always limit my time of playing online games. Because I think playing too much online games makes me tired. My eyes are often soring. My mother always reminds me of learning hard, so I know what is the most important to me. Playing online games only helps me to relax a little. So I advise you to working hard at school, and just spend a little time playing online games, although how much you like it.
Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience

Last summer, my family had an amazing picnic in an eco-park. We got up early to prepare for the trip. My younger sister and I helped our mother pack up some delicious food and fruit while my father checked the car. At 6 a.m. we departed, and 2 hours later we reached our destination which is 50 km away from Hanoi. After choosing an ideal place in deep shadow, we put down blankets to rest. Lying on my back, I enjoyed delightful scenery, pure air and beautiful sounds of country birds. Surprisingly, while we were eating our picnic lunch, some lovely little birds swooped down. We fed those friendly birds with bread and watermelon. After meal, we sang aloud, laughed happily and took some photos. Early in the afternoon, we went fishing in a small river nearby. I was extremely excited as that was the first time I have tried fishing. Three hours of fishing passed by, and we were all happy with our total catch of eight fish. At nearly 5 p.m. we hurriedly gathered things to come back home. For the whole family, the outing was great fun.
