Holi Festival is a Spring Festival of Hindus in India and Nepal, also known as the Festival of colors or share the love Festival. This is an ancient Festival of the Hindus and have become popular with those who do not follow Hinduism in many places in South Asia, as well as residents of other communities outside of Asia

Holi is a festival that lasted for two days and started on Purnima (full moon day) falls on Bikram Sambat calendar of Hindus [4] the month of Falgun, usually on days the end of February and mid March of the Gregorian calendar. The first day of Holika Dahan or Chhoti called Holi and on Monday as Rangwali Holi, Dhuleti, Dhulandi or Dhulivandan. [5]
Holi celebration begins on the night before Holi with a bonfire where Holika people gather, do the religious ceremonies in front of the fire, and prayed for the wicked in the person they will be take out when the fire started burning. Holi Festival is important to the Hinđu as well as many other Indian and South Asian origin people. It was held in late winter, on the last full moon of the lunar month of Phalgun (February or March), (Phalgun Purnima), which usually falls in March, sometimes in late February
The Festival has many purposes, but the most prominent is the marked spring. In the literature of the 17th century, it has been defined as an agricultural Festival, the Festival celebrates the season bumper harvest in the spring, good and fertile. The Hindus believe that there is a time to enjoy the rich colors of spring and say goodbye to winter. For many religious Hinđu, the Festival of Holi marks the beginning of the new year as well as an occasion to reset and refresh the already broken relationship, end conflicts and freeing themselves by dirty feelings of impurities accumulated from the past.
It also has a religious purpose, the icon shown in the legend of Holika. The night before Holi, bonfires are lit in a ceremony called the Dahan (burning of Holika) or Little Holi. The history and significance of crab Hou Lijie
There's an iconic legends to ultimate like why Holi is celebrated as a Festival of colors. From "Holi" derived from "bad girls" Holika of demon king Hiranyakashipu. The Festival is said to have originated from Prahladpuri Temple of Mulan in the Punjab. The original temple of Prahladpuri is said to have been built by the son of Hiranyakashipu, Prahlada.
According to legend, King Hiranyakashipu is the ruler of Multan and has earned an honored made him almost invincible. He became Amir, thinking himself to be God, that require all people to worship only him.
However, his own son, Prahlada is not listening to him. Prahlada always faithful to Scripture Vishnu.This made Hiranyakashipu infuriated. He has taken the cruel punishment for his children, but nothing can affect the determination for that what I do is true of Prahlada. Finally, Holika, the evil aunt of Prahlada tricked him to sit on the pyre with her. Holika who wears a robe to avoid being injured by the fire, while Prahlada then not so. When the fire flared up, dressing gowns flying off of Holika and EnCase Prahlada. help him survive while Holika was burned alive. See so, Hiranyakashipu could not restrain his anger, smashes a pillar with his rod. There was a loud sound and then Holy Vishnu appears below the shape of Holy Narashima and then he killed Hiraynakashipu. The flame is a symbol to remind us of the triumph of good before the evil, of Prahlada and Hiraynakashipu well as the flame was burning Holika. The next day, when the flame has cooled down, people smeared ashes over the forehead, a custom still was some people obey. Finally, the pigments have been used to organise Holi.

The importance of Hou Lijie
In the Braj region of India, where Hindu gods, Krishna, grew up, the Festival is celebrated for 16 days (until Rangpanchmi ceremony) to celebrate the love of Radha for Krishna. The Festival officially opens in the spring, with the Festival of Holi is celebrated as a Festival of love. There is also a symbolic legend behind the day celebrating Krishna. When is a child, Krishna had brought the blue skin color feature because she she Putana poisoned him with her milk. In his childhood, Krishna was desperate when the white girl Radha and the other girls can like him because of the color of his skin or not. Since then, the color on the Radha was celebrated on the day of Holi. In addition to India, this contributed to the legend explains the significance of Holi are common in some communities of the Caribbean and South America originating from India as Guayana, Trinidad and Tobago. It also held enthusiastic in Mauritus.
The Festival of Holi mean more culture that's day Festival to finish and get rid of the guilt of the past, to end the conflict by having to face everyone, one day to the forgotten and forgiven.
