Every year, every spring, my hometown jubilantly opens a boat racing festival on the Red River. Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Hoa is my classmate. Her hobby is swimming. She started to swim 1 year ago. She usually goes swimming with her brother. She had to practice swimming gradually for this hobby. She finds this hobby interesting and relaxed. In the future, she will go swimming more.

One of my favourite online classmates is Stephanie. She shares the same hobby with me. We both like drawing anime. I don't really know exactly when Stephanie started her hobby, but she said that she began to draw since she was a little child. She always shares her idea in drawing or some of her sketches with me. She finds this hobby's really creative, interesting and she feels very comfortable and relaxed while doing this hobby. She told me that in the future, she will keep this hobby for sure, and maybe she will find a job that is related to this hobby.

ive years ago, I attended a very big festival in Ha Noi. It's called 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi Festival. There are a lot of activities in this festival such as fireworks display, military parade, music performances, ect. It was organized very splendidly because the organizers are the Viet Nam government. Millions of people came to Ha Noi to participate in this great festival. It was held for ten days from October 1st 2015 to October 10th 2015. I saw lots of fireworks, parties, parades during these days. It was interesting. I took so many pictures on this festival because there were plenty of beautiful scenes. We organized this great festival to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi.
