My family consists of four people. There are my parents, my brother and me. My father is an engineer . My mother is a housewife. My brother is a student, and I am a police.
We get up at 6 o’clock every morning. After breakfast, I and my father go to work, my mother does the housework and my brother goes to school.We have lunch at noon and dinner at 7 p.m. In the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking or watching television for about an hour. Then my brother and I go to our own rooms.
My family is a very happy one. We love each other very much and expect to live together under the same roof forever.

I have a younger brother, his name is Trung; and he is 7 years old. He is a small boy with a big bright pair of eyes and curly hair. This look makes him seems very smart, but in fact he is a very playful boy who spends most of his free time hanging around and playing tricks on people. I have an important mission to look after him, and I have a feeling that half of my life just to chase after him and get what he just takes from other people. Despite being naughty sometimes, he is still a good and sentimental boy. His favorite one in our family is my grandmother, because she is the one to protect him whenever he is being scolded. He loves spending time staying around her just to watch her sew some clothes or take a nap with her. His favorite things to do are playing games on the Ipad, collects picture cards from famous cartoons, and drawing on my bedroom wall. He is a pretty smart boy, but he still does not know how important school is since he is just one year into elementary. I try to teach him the alphabet and some simple tasks with numbers, but he always tries to finish the studying hours as quick as possible so he can run outside and play. I think he needs more time to get use to school, and I hope he will become a good student once he realizes how much essential the school is. He still has a long way to go before him, and I feel the need to teach him everything and experience that I know. I love him very much, and I will always support him on his future path.

Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

Về tâp quán, trẻ con nhận bao lì xì từ ngừoi lớn, chúc tết nhà họ hàng và đi lễ chùa là những hoạt động phổ biến. Tiền lì xì được cho là đem lại hy vọng và sức khoẻ cho trẻ con. Chùa là biểu tượng của sự yên bình, bởi thế mọi người tới đây và cầu nguyện cho năm mới thành công. Theo truyền thống, mỗi nhà được trang trí với cây hoa đào ở miền bắc và cây hoa mai ở miền nam. Ngoài ra, nhà và đường luôn sạch sẽ, và đẹp đẽ bởi vì tất cả đều sẵn sang cho một năm mới. mọi người có không gian ấm cúng và khảong thời gian vui vẻ với các thành viên trong gia đình. Đây là thời điểm để mọi người sống ở mọi miền đất nước sum họp và dành thời gian cho nhau. Tết là cơ hội để mọi người quay trở về nhà sau những áp lực và căng thẳng từ môi trường học tập và làm việc. Tết không chỉ là một ngày lễ thong thường, nó là văn hoá à lối sống của người Việt bởi vì ý nghĩa sâu xa của nó rất thiêng liêng và quan trọng. Gia đình là cái nôi nuôi dưỡng con người, là nơi che chở, bảo vệ ta từ thuở lọt lòng. Gia đình- chỉ một từ giảng đơn thế thôi nhưng chứa đựng biết bao nhiêu là tình yêu thương, biết bao sự ăm áp. Gia đình chính là nơi nâng niu, chăm sóc, dưỡng dục ta. Tình cảm gia đình là những tia nắng diệu kì của cuộc sống- một ngọn lửa để sưởi ấm cho trái tim mỗi con người. tình yêu thương mà gia đình dành cho ta chính là "sợi dây" tình cảm thiêng liêng nhất. Gia đình là nơi vung đắp những tâm hồn. Ai có mội gia đình trọn vẹn thì hãy giữ chặt lấy nó. My beloved family has four people; my parents, my sister and I. My father runs his own shop at our house. His shop sales many different kinds of plants, and I love to help him taking care of them. Every morning, he wakes up early to water the trees before taking me to school. My mother is a teacher, she teaches at our local secodary school. She is an example of a beautiful and strong woman since she can perfectly balance between work and family. She always takes time to make breakfast for us before going to work. Although my father also cook dinner sometimes, I am only in love with her delicious food. My older sister is now studying at university, therefore she lives apart from us. Every weekend, she catch the bus to visit us and stay for one or two nights. We usually do all the things together, so I miss her so much when she first left home for school. I love and treasure every moment that I spend with them, and I always think that my family is the best thing that I could ever have.

I have a big family with four people. I have one sister and one brother. My sister is older and my brother is younger than me. My father is a teacher at a secondary school. He has worked for 35 years in the field and he is my biggest role model in life. My mother is a teacher too. She is very beautyful and she is really good at cooking. I love my family so much.
(I’m a generous and easy-going person but when it comes to work I’m a competitive perfectionist. I’m also an optimis and outgoing person so I have many friends and other social relationships. I enjoy reading, writing and doing math. I decided to become a Civil Engineer because I have always been fascinated by bridges, buildings, and skyscrapers.
