Tet is a traditional holiday of our country Vietnam.
The season of Tet occurs around the biginning of February and end of Janaurỵ The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. Tet holiday is very special for Vietnamese families to reunite. At that time, all family members try to come back their homes and get together to prepare for Tet. Moreover they will buy new clothes and clean their house. A branch of Mai flower or a Kumquat tree can't be absent from every home. They bring a fresh atmosphere to the house. We decorate ancestral altar with a tray full of fruits and flowers.
Some typical Tet's food such as sweets, coconut jam, candied fruits, lemon seeds, rice cake , "thit kho"( stew pork with eggs). A special food can not absent is sticky rice cake.. It is our country's traditional food on Tet holiday. Tet meal is more dilicious than our every day.
On Tet holiday, people have many typical activities. Young persons takes part in the traditional games such as: tug; cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. Many people visit relatives to wish a happy new year. A dults will give lucky money for children. Woman like going to pagoda to wish good things will come to their familỵ

My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the necessary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contains many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

I live in a pretty big house in the countryside since we also live with our grandparents, and the biggest as well as the most beautiful room in our house is the living room. We have a tradition to visit others house in our free times, so the living is specialized to welcome our guests. We do not put the TV, loud speakers or the DVD player there, because that is the space for us to talk to each other. At the end of the room, we put a big altar which is used to worship our ancestors. My mother takes a very good care of it since she changes the water and incenses every day. My father installs some lights to make it brighter and warmer. In the middle of the room is a couch which made from wood. It is beautifully carved into a dragon which the body is the back, the head is the place to rest our heads, and the claws are the four legs of the couch. The table surface is decorated with conch, and it makes the complete look to not look too heavy. On the table are a big flower vase and a set of tea pot and cups, which is used to serve the best tea to our guests. There is a big window behind the couch, and it gives the room plenty sources of light. The curtains are in light green color, and go very well with the dark green paint of the walls. On the walls are some of our family pictures as well as some pieces of my grandfather’s calligraphy. He has the ability to write Chinese and Vietnamese words in a very beautiful way, so we frame some of his works and put them on the walls. It can be said that the living room represent the whole family, so we always try to take a very good care of it.

There are five people in my family but I love my father most. He is tall and thin. My father's name is Nam. he is an electriction. He has short black hair. His face is quite long. He has brown eyes, straigh nose and brown skin but strong. He is very funny. When I have a mistake, he always tell me how to make it right. I live in a big city, and my house is not very big since there are only rich people who can afford to live in a spacious house. Every room in my house is just enough for our activities, so we do not have much space for the living room. However, we try our best to decorate it because it is where the whole family gathers after a long day staying outside. We lay down a thick rug on the floor, it both helps to decorate and keep the floor safe from the scratches. To save some space, we put the TV and the loud speakers on the wall. The Play Station, DVD player and other electronic devices are put in a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and we only take them out whenever we want to play something. In the middle of the room is a glass table, we put on the surface a bottle of fresh water and some cups so everyone can have a quick drink before leaving or after coming back to the house. Behind the table is a big white couch, and it can be considered as the biggest thing in the living room. My mother loves the pastel tone, so the walls are painted in cream color; and they all go very well with the couch. We do not have any window there, so we install an air conditioner to keep the atmosphere cool. We hang some pictures of landscape as well as painting on the walls to make the room livelier. There are also a pot of a small plant in the corner of the room, so we can get some fresh air from it. Every night, we would gather to watch TV or sing karaoke, and it is my favorite time of the day. Although the living room is no too big, our family will always have good times there together.

Mẹ tôi chăm sóc bàn thờ rất kĩ vì mẹ thay nước và thắp hương mỗi ngày. Bố của tôi lắp đặt một vài ngọn đền ở đó để khiến bàn thờ trong sáng và ấm áp hơn. Ở ngay giữa căn phòng là một bộ ghế sô pha làm bằng gỗ. Nó được điêu khắc rất xinh đẹp hình một con rồng với thân hình làm lưng dựa, cái đầu là nơi để chúng ta dựa đầu vào, và bộ móng vuốt chính là bốn chân ghế. Mặt bàn được trang trí với ốc xà cừ, mà nó giúp cho tổng thể bộ ghế nhìn không quá nặng nề. Trên bàn là một bình hoa lớn và một bộ ấm tách trà dùng để phục vụ loại trà ngon nhất cho các vị khách. Có một cửa sổ lớn phía sau bộ ghế, và nó cung cấp cho căn phòng nguồn ánh sáng dồi dào. Rèm cửa có màu xanh lá nhạt, và nó đi kèm hoàn hảo với màu sơn xanh đậm của bức tường. Trên tường là một vài bức hình của gia đình tôi cũng như những tác phẩm thư pháp của ông nội. Ông có khả năng viết tiếng Trung Quốc và tiếng Việt rất đẹp, vậy nên chúng tôi đóng khung một vài bức và treo lên tường. Có thể nói rằng phòng khách chính là nơi đại diện cho cả gia đình, vì thế nên chúng tôi luôn cố gắng hết sức để chăm sóc tốt cho nó.

Coming to the National Park, you not only look at the vast landscape that has been spectacular moments interesting and useful to understanding animal population is very diverse and rich with many kinds of precious rare and unique.

After many pressure in life, one individual always has their own home to come back called country and Vietnam is my beautiful country. Although it is small, it has several beautiful landscape and tourist attraction. I can list out: Ha Long bay, Phong Nha cave, Nha Trang beach, Hoi An old town and so on. VN is famous for its green field, peaceful village and friendly people. Vietnamese are kind, humble, honest as well as hospitable. Besides, there are other good personalities such as: brave, patience, diligence. Country is an abstract definition including all of the most familiar things belonged to one spirit. Country plays a crucial role in nurturing one spirit and lifestyle. Each individual is a mirror reflects country’s tradition, culture, habits and customs. Specifically, there are several customs in different areas as VN has 54 ethnic groups. Each group has their own national character, which distinguish them from others. Therefore, protecting and preserving national character are Vietnamese’s duty from very old days. If there is a chance to visit our country, don’t hesitate to catch it cause VN maintains a lot of undiscovered mystery. I love VN and people here so much and I hope foreign tourists will visit my country one future day.

Badminton is one kind of exercising that will make people enjoy it. It’s also good for our health. That’s why, I’m taking badminton as one of my hobby.
Badminton is a very easy game, everyone can play it. In fact, you can play it anywhere with rackets and a shuttlecock. The shuttlecock is made from goose feathers pushed into a small piece of cork. Badminton rackets are very light. They normally weigh from 90 grams to about 110 grams. The smash of the shuttlecock can travel up to 260km per hour.
There are six main shots: the serve, the clear, the drop, the smash, the forehand drive and the backhand drive. The court on which badminton is played is in the shape of a rectangle and is divided in half by a net. There are two or four players, each team is on each side of the net.
Badminton takes its name from the home of the Duke of Beaufort, Badminton House in Gloucestershire, England where the first game of badminton was played.
There are many benefits of playing badminton for our health. It reduces bad cholesterol and increase in good cholesterol and increases the levels of HDL good cholesterol while decreasing the levels of bad cholesterols. When you play badminton, basal heart rate drops a few beats per minute and blood pressure is reduced, which protects you from heart disease. It also can reduce weight for overweigh people and attain optimal weight for their height and age. That’s why it keeps you feeling well, strong, motivated, enthusias and young.
I don’t sports basically, but badminton are special. I have always been enjoying play that. I’d to continue play this sport as my hobby and have fun.

It will be a great joy or happiness for everyone if we can own a house designed by ourselves. A house in my dream is not necessarily a large house, as long as it fits my style and character. A house located on the outskirts of town will be very suitable for me to enjoy a serene life. It will be a two- storey house facing west-south side. Moreover, my house can not be lack of a large garden surrounded by thousands of different colors of flowers and fruits. I like it the most when having a breakfast or enjoying night views in my own garden. Simplicity is beauty, this explains why I would prefer an airy space rather than a well- equipped house. However, the house should have basic necessities in the kitchen and bathroom to serve all my demands in daily life. In addition, I will use bright color tones for the whole house, especially my bedroom to make it more spacious. My bedroom will be more perfect and ideal if it has a balcony where i could smell the fragrance from the garden as well as enjoy the sound of the birds in the morning. Besides, I also have an intention of having a small garage and storage. In conclusion, nothing but a suitable house for my lifestyles will fulfill my future dream.
Hello everyone! Today I'll tell you about my house. I live in a big house in the countryside and it is very beautiful. It has a living room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the living room, there is a table, four chairs, a television and an air conditioner. My bedroom is very nice. There is a computer, a bed, a lamp and two pictures on the wall. And a bookshelf above the table, some teddy bears on the bed and a wardrobe. The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove and a sink. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom. It has a shower, a washing machine and a tub. I love my house very much.
