It was a fantastic party ! Birthday is an occasion of reunion and happiness. This is an occordant opportunity to represent love affair to the one we love. My younger sister's birthday came off on last Sunday, the day on which she turned fifteen. She invited a large number of guests including relatives and friends. My whole family were all busy making preparations for the feast. The party took place outside for all the guests to enjoy fresh air in the evening. The surrounding is covered with plenty of colorful balloons and flashing lights. From 6 p.m the guests began to arrive one by one because the party was to start at 7 p.m. Our family warmly welcomed them at the gate of the house. At exact seven, all people present gathered around the table to sing the chorus"Happy birthday to you" and clap hands. After that my younger sister began to blow out all the candles on the cake. It was a great chocolate birthday cake tastefully decorated with colorful candies and cream. All the guests were served with various candies, biscuits, fruits, cakes, beverages,... The party was full of rejoicement and pleasure with laughters all the time. She received so many meaningful birthday presents that she bursted into tears. After finishing the party, the guests said goodbye to us and returned home. Our family began to clean up and soon got to sleep. It was a hardship day but full of cheerfulness and meaning.

Nằm tựa lưng vào đỉnh Sơn Trà vững chãi, chùa Linh Ứng - Bãi Bụt được xem là ngôi chùa lớn nhất ở thành phố Đà Nẵng cả về quy mô cũng như kiến trúc nghệ thuật. Điện chính có sức chứa lớn, là nơi trang nghiêm và thanh tịnh nhất.
Chính giữa là tượng Phật Bổn Sư Thích Ca Mô Ni, bên phải là Quan Thế Âm Bồ Tát, và bên trái là Tam Tạng Phật, bốn vị Thần Long Hộ Pháp cùng 18 vị La Hán được sắp xếp theo một quy luật, bảo vệ cho chính điện.
Chùa Linh Ứng Bãi Bụt được xây dựng trên khu đất rộng 12 hecta ở bán đảo Sơn Trà. Ngôi chùa được xây dựng kết hợp hài hòa giữa kiến trúc thanh tân và truyền thống kiến tạo thẩm mỹ cổ truyền Á Đông.
Đặc biệt, tại chùa Linh Ứng Bãi Bụt có tượng Phật Quan Thế Âm được xem là cao nhất Việt Nam (cao 67m, đường kính tòa sen 35m). Tượng đứng tựa lưng vào núi, hướng ra biển, đôi mắt hiền từ nhìn xuống, một tay bắt ấn tam muội, tay kia cầm bình nước cam lộ như tưới an bình cho những ngư dân đang vươn khơi xa. Trên mão tượng Quan Âm có tượng Phật Tổ cao 2m. Trong lòng tượng có 17 tầng, mỗi tầng đều có bệ thờ tổng cộng 21 bức tượng Phật với hình dáng, vẻ mặt, tư thế khác nhau, gọi là “Phật trung hữu Phật”.

Nowadays, pollution is a common term with everyone in the world and air pollution is one of the most polluting types. We know how dangerous air pollution and soil pollution do to people. And to reduce them we have such many good ways. Remember to treat your rubbish before throwing it into the trash can. Don't throw trash everywhere. Planting more trees will transfer CO2 into O2, we need O2 to live. Use fewer plastic bags, plastic bags are cheap but they will slowly kill your health. That are a few of the many ways that will reduce air pollution and soil pollution.
Enviroment is neccessary thing for this life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water people drink and is everything they need for their life. But now the most important thing for the life is being polluted. This pollution affects the health of all living things. Air is damaged by lorry fumes and car, and power stations create acid rain which can destroys entire lakes and forests. When fossil fuels: gas, oil and coal are burned to provide energy for cooking, lighting etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from sewage works and factories, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, spreading disease, and killing wildlife. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create rubbish! Each household produces about one tonne of rubbish each year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and burned in incinerators or buried in enormous landfill sites – both of these actions can be dangerous for our environment.
But only people can change and solve it. Pollution could be prevented by all thing we do each day. First people can use recycled paper to save trees. Second try to avoid using plastic. It is hard to recycle. People should refuse to use carrier bags. If people can not avoid buying plastic bags, they should use re-use plastic bags many times. Finally people must take their old clothes to charity shops. People also should save energy to protect environment. Switching off all electric things when they are not in use, walk or use a bicycle instead of car for short trips, keep healthy life and keep clean atmosphere.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.
