Last summer, my husband and I booked a vacation to the island of Sicily, in Italy. We love the sea, but we (not want)⁽¹⁾_____to spend every day on the beach. So we decided to visit Mount Etna, a living volcano! We (drive)⁽²⁾___ to the mountain from our hotel early in the morning. When we got there, we (not know)⁽³⁾ __where to go so we asked a guide to help us. She (be)⁽⁴⁾ ____very nice and told us about the history of the volcano. As we approached the crater, there was a strong smell and we (can)⁽⁵⁾____ see smoke. The views at the top (be)⁽⁶⁾ ____amazing. We took lots of pictures and then we go back to the hotel and (have)⁽⁷⁾ _____a nice lunch there. It was a great experience.
