Xét về mặt ngữ pháp, ta thấy C, D sai: D sai, vì ta thấy ngay ở đầu câu đã sai về mặt ngữ pháp: “are you sure is ....”. C sai vì không có cấu trúc “ if ...., then ...”

Xét về nghĩa, Câu gốc: Không thể nào là Mary người bạn đã nghe thấy la hét đêm qua, vì bây giờ cô ấy đang đi nghỉ ở in Vermont.

B loại vì không cùng nghĩa: “I think.” - Tôi nghĩ,. chỉ sự việc chưa chắc chắn => khác nghĩa với câu gốc.
