Hello, my name is Duc. Today, I will tell you about my plans for this summer holiday. I will go to Sam Son beach. In Sam Son beach, in the morning, I will stay at a modern hotel then at 8 o'clock I will swim in the sea and build sandcastles with my sister. I often wonder about my future as I am about to finish secondary school. The number one question on my mind is which profession should I choose? It is very hard to make any definite choices, because I know they will affect me for the rest of my life. I want a profession that will satisfy me, challenge me, and bring me joy. I believe that a job should be like a hobby. I want to love my work, and know that I am making a difference in this world by helping other people. First of all, I want to finish secondary school. Soon I will take the first important exam of my life - the final graduation exam. I will be tested in four different subjects: the Czech and German languages, biology, and chemistry. After my graduation, I would like to study at the Medical University to become a doctor. Ever since I was a child, I have dreamt of curing people and healing diseases. It takes a long time to study medicine. It is very difficult and requires a tremendous amount of patience and hard work. I hope that I will be able to meet these challenges, and that my dream will come true. Later, I would like to work in a hospital or in private practice. During my secondary studies, I worked on biology and chemistry projects. The experience from working on these projects has given me insight into science that far exceeds what I could have learned at school. In addition, I also developed my patience and diligence, and gained valuable experience when I gave public speeches about our research. This opportunity will be a great advantage for my future studies. During the last few summer vacations, I worked as an assistant nurse at a hospital. I believe that real life experience with patients, medicine, doctors, and nurses is the best start for a future medical student. I cannot really imagine having a family yet, but I am 18 years old, so I have to start thinking about it As for now, I am only focusing my attention on finishing my studies. Also, before I have a family, I would like to travel overseas. I want to see countries like Japan, Finland and travel through the African continent. After I finish my education and travels, I plan to get married and have a family. I would like to live with my future family in a quiet, natural countryside setting. I am personally interested in becoming a doctor, however, there are many different career opportunities. You can work in manufacturing, service, agriculture or business. Everyone has to decide which path is best for him or herself, once they finish elementary school. One option is to continue secondary school. The second option is to choose another branch of the educational system. It is very important to consider your interests when you choose your future profession. Everyone would like to be good at what they choose. Sometimes, people continue to study even after they receive their degree. It is always important to learn, and in some professions, you have to constantly study in order to be at the forefront of your field. For example, doctors, scientists, and computer programmers must be aware of the latest research in the field and apply this knowledge to their work. |
When I was a student, I used to live in Hanoi.So I was the person who always got traffic jams. Nowadays, althought the traffic in Hanoi has been improved ,it still is one of the most serious problems in our society. In my opinion, there are some following ways to reduce the traffic jams. Firstly, The government should build more motorways because many streets and roads are narrow, a lot of transports share one road so it is easy to cause accidents and traffic jams. Secondly, a law about driving in city center should be given. Motorists driving in city center must be charged strictly. There are too much motocycles in the city, many motorisrs are too young, they don't have driving license, they don't understand the law or they don't obey the law seriously . The government should encourage people to use the puplic transport by discouring the price for someone who always uses public transport, especially for students ,workers, etc, opening more bus routes,maybe build the subway. I think subway is the best way to reduce the traffic jams. Things we should do immedietely are educating people from early age, issueing a law in traffic, banning stricly the person who don't obey the law. In conclusion, we should be aware of disadvantages of traffic jams. It affects on every sides of our life.

Nowaday, traffic problem is the biggest problem that many people care about. In VN, I think the city where have the worst traffic is Ha noi.
The first problem is the traffic jam here. Why? In the rush hours of the day, there're too many people using the road. Last year, in 2013, many bridges was built so it happen less but in order to stop this, a kind of small car should be invented, people should go to works by buses instead of going by motorbikes...
The second one, as you know, the roads in VN is not as big and clean as the roads in the big countries. They're narrow, bumpy and some dirty so it’s really hard for the road users to drive safely. I think we should raise money to make the road in VN better and better.
But everyone knows that Vietnamese people are not respect and don’t follow the traffic rules. That’s the biggest reason for everything. They wear the helmet that not strong enough to keep they safe if the accident may happen, they ride too fast on the small roads… The traffic will never can be improve if they keep doing this.
At the end, I hope the traffic in VN will improve more.
Hello everyone, my name is Yen. I am twelve years old. I am from Ngoc Thanh Village, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province. Today, I am very happy to tell you about my school. My school is Le Quy Don. It is in Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen province. It is very beautiful and big. There are twelve classrooms and eight function rooms in my shool. My school has five hundred and twenty-five students and thirty-two teachers. Students in my school are very good. They come from around Kim Dong district. Our teachers teach very well. At school, I learn many subject such as : Math, Literature, English, Art, Music,...In Math lessons, I learn how to count. In English classes, I learn how to speak English. In Music lessons, I sing songs. In Art classes, I draw pictures. So on...In all subject, I like English best because it's very interesting and important for me. At breaks, I have a lots activities : skipping rope, hiding and seeking, chatting with friends, so on...Each day at school is a happy day. I love my school very much.

How are you now? Do you miss me? I'm Hung, I very miss you so I write this letter for you to know your health and tell you about a festival I have just attended.
As you know, there are many different and interesting festivals around the world such as Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine's day and so on. But for me Tet holiday is the best festival I have attended because of many reasons.
I joined Tet holiday some weeks ago. I and my family prepared a lot of things before Tet. We cleaned our house clearly, decorated it with lót of colourful flowers and lights. My mother and I also cooked banh chung - a traditional cake of Vietnamese together. She taught me how to cook and wrap it. It was a wonderful time for me. Tet is a time for all family members get together and have dinner. At Tet, my mother bought me many new and beautiful clothes. I very loved it! On the first day of Tet, we went to the pagoda and visited our relatives. I got lucky money from adults. This is the best thing I like on Tet holiday. My family took me to many places to play. What a wonderful memory!

I am going to go to the city to visit an art museum on Sunday. I’ll go there with some friends. We’ll meet at the station at 9.00. It’ll take about 30 minutes to get to the city by train. The museum opens at 10.00. We’ll get there early to get at the front of the queue. We’ll eat lunch in the museum’s café and I’ll buy some souvenirs for my family.
