The Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. It's very famous, more than 250 million people have visited the tower since it was completed in 1889. As one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Eiffel Tower has been the inspiration for the creation of many replicas and similar towers. I really want to visit Paris to see this tower.

While all of the well-known wonders in the world are definitely worth visiting (why else would they be well-known?), it’s sometimes nice to get a bit off of the beaten path and experience the cultural and natural wonders of the world – especially if it means fewer crowds. The world isn’t limited to the same old hot spots that have been mentioned in guidebooks for ages. So for your next vacation, instead of trekking off to that place you’ve heard a million people talk about, strike out for one of these hidden gems and discover unique experiences all your own.

You’ve probably heard of the famous ancient Roman ruin of Pompeii, but what about the ruined villages of Paricutin and San Juan Parangaricutiro? Destroyed in the early 1940s by the sudden emergence of Paricutin volcano, all that remains are these cathedral ruins

Mai: I don't know how many books I've read so far this year … too many to count. I've read five books this week. I usually read about four or five in a week. I love reading. If I really like a book, I might read it five or six times.

Chú ý: CÁC BẠN ĐỪNG GỬI BÀI NÀY NHA: I live in a mountain village. My parents often tell me storries about their life in the past. It`s not much like village I can see nowadays. Some villages now live in brick houses instead of earthen ones. Our houses are better equippded with electric fans and TVs. Thanks to the TV, we now know more about life outside our village. We don`t use oil lamps any more. We have electric lights which are much brighter. More villagers are using motorcycles for transport instead of riding a horse or walking. We - village children no longer have to walk a long way and cross a stream to get to school, which is the dangerous in the rain season. Now there is a new school nearby. We also have more visitors from the city. They come to experience our way of life.
