Christmas is well known all around the world for its special features. It occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. On this day, people often decorate their houses and prepare presents,…Even so, many households in big cities buy the Christmas tree. They prepares and decorates it with colorful electric lights, gifts and and small bells. Children also love Christmas day so much. They prepare clean stocks for receiving the presents from the Santa Claus. Under the cover of darkness on 25th December night, people often go to the church to pray for best things or gather to share happiness together. In conclusion, Christmas day has become one of the most popular festivals in our country, brings a new color to the picture of a civilized religious culture in Viet Nam.

Giáng sinh được biết đến trên toàn thế giới bởi những đặc trưng thú vị của nó. Nó diễn ra vào ngày 24 và 25 tháng mười hai nhưng bắt đầu từ đầu tháng. Ở Việt Nam, Giáng sinh trở nên phổ biến, đặc biệt là đối với giới trẻ. Vào ngày nàu\y, mọi người thường trang trí nhà cửa, chuẩn bị quà tặng. Thâm chí, nhiều gia đình ở các thành phố lớn mua cây thông Giáng sinh. Họ chuẩn bị và trang trí các đèn nhấp nháy nhiều màu sắc, quà và những cái chuông nhỏ. Trẻ em cũng rất thích ngày Giáng sinh. Chúng chuẩn bị những chiếc tất sạch để nhận những món quà từ ông già Nô-en. Trong sự bao phủ của màn đêm ngày lễ giáng sinh, mọi người thường đi đến nhà thờ để cầu nguyện cho mọi điều tốt đẹp hoặc tụ tập để chia sẻ niềm vui với nhau. Kết lại, lễ giáng sinh ngày đang trở thành một trong những ngày lễ quan trọng ở nước ta, mang đến màu sắc mới cho bức tranh tôn giáo văn hoá văn minh ở Việt Nam.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in my country. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. In the past, on this day the moon was brightest and roundest which represented the family reunion or gatherings. Therefore, families and friends often came together or harvested crops for the festival. Nowadays, Mid Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in Vietnam to enjoy the best time of the year. But not only can children celebrate this day but also adults can, adults who wish to have a chance to remind their their childhood and feel young again.

Và nó thường được tổ chức vào thàng 15 tháng 8 âm lịch với trăng tròn vào đêm. Trong quá khứ, vào ngày này trăng sẽ sáng và tròn nhất, thể hiện sự đoàn viên và tập hợp gia đình. Vì vậy, các gia đình và bạn bè thường đến với nhau hoặc thu hoạch hoa màu cho lễ hội. Harry Potter is one of my favourite movies. I have loved it since it was held in the theatre years ago. Based on the best seller fiction written by JK.Rowling, the movie makes it real. This movie was about Harry Potter, he is a wizard born in the dark days of the wizardry world. His parents died in the hand of Voldemort, the dark lord. During his journey, he experienced a lot: happiness, sadness, live and death moments, etc. At last, he finally beat Voldermort and became a great auror like his parents. This movie taught me many things. The most important thing for me is that love and friendship will always be there for those who deserve it and fight for it. I’d recommend this movie for everyone.

I love watching Vietnamese movies. One of the most impressive Vietnamese films is The Age of Youth. This film has two parts. The film tells the story of Linh – the daughter of a well-off family. She loves Korean culture, so she went to Korea to live and study. Here, Linh accidentally lives with Khanh, Mai and Junsu – the son of the innkeeper. Junsu is talented in singing and dancing, handsome but naughty. This guy is Linh’s engraving. In Korea, Linh and Junsu gradually developed feelings for each other. However, Linh’s family later went bankrupt, and her mother became ill, so she returned home. Junsu is quite shocked but can not do anything else, he has focused on his work. After much has happened, Linh and Junsu eventually get back together but are opposed by Junsu’s family. Part 1 of the film closes with an open ending. In part 2, after Junsu’s mother became sympathetic to Linh, Junsu had an accident and he lost his memory. Junsu had to go to America for treatment and love another daughter. At this time, Linh was extremely sad. However, Junsu once again loves Linh, although he does not remember who she is. Gradually, Junsu regained his memories, and he remembered Ling as his first love. After so many difficulties and obstacles, the two of them have come together. Youth is a Korean-style film, many ironies impress viewers. The footage of the movie is very beautiful and sharp. I like this movie.

Tet is definitely the most crucial national festival of Vietnam. It is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in our country. This is the occasion that people celebrate with great joy, hope, festivity and different cultural and other programs.
Tet is the time when the Lunar calendar year begins which usually fall between mid January to mid February. People start the arrangement to celebrate this festival about one month prior to Tet which includes cooking traditional foods, cleaning their house and buying new furnitures, etc.
On the Lunar New Year’s Eve, people gather together, make prayers and stay awake till late at night to enjoy the night. But during Tet holiday, because of the COVID-19, several customs that make Tet a unique festival must be canceled. For instance, visit friend and relatives’ houses, play cards, and going to churches, temples or pagodas to make good prays for their family have to be stopped based on official dispatch. Everyone have to wear masks if they want to go out.
This is an important festival to us. Vietnamese take this day as an important festival day. In our tradition, we start the year with the hope of eliminating the bitterness and failure of the past year and start a fresh year with the hope of fortune and happiness. But it is important to keep yourself and your family members stay safe from the pandemic so don't go to the public places such as cinemas or supermarketts.

My pet is a Vietnamese cat named Binko. He is an adorable black and white cat with a very adorable round face. Binko is always friendly to me, but wary of strangers. He loves many things such as lying on the carpet, lying under the sun, he also loves playing and especially eating.

During childhood, I used to feed different kind of pet such as: hamster, dog, rabbit; however, I still like my cat the most. Her name is Katy. Her hair consists of three colors white, black and blonde. She has tiny ear, small nose and blue bright eyes, which can glow in the dark. Her hobbies is playing with colors wool rolls and catching mouse. Katy don’t really like cat food, she enjoy fish bone, rice and tiny shrimp. Although she eats less, she seems to be energetic all day long. Katy and I have great time being together. She is my best friend as she knows how is my inside feeling and sharing my sadness as well as happiness. Whenever I am not in good mood or in trouble, I hug her and feel a cosy breath that sweep all the disappointment. Every evening, I take her for a walk in a local park so that we can enjoy fresh air and she makes more friends with other cats. Cat is an easy-to-feed pet as it is small, obedient. In spite of laziness, it helps us relaxing, protecting house from some insects. Cat is not new to people but its feather is used to make out many cat fur coat and other items of fashion. It is highly recommend that government create a strict law banning on cat thief. Finally, cat is a cute animal; therefore, it needs to be protected and preserved from being eaten and illegally killed.
