My childhood is coupled not only with sweet memories of my pupil age but also a lovely dog- Cookie. Cookie was a special gift that my parents gave me on my birthday party. It is an exotic dog with a white smooth fur as velvet and a wet nose. Cookie has round bright black eyes so that he can see everything under the cover of darkness. His ears always pricks up to hear all the slightest commotion. Cookie is a playful but smart, docile and faithful dog. I feel very happy when seeing him running from outside the gate, greeting me and wrapping around my legs after every school days. not until I was in a fix did I realize that Cookie is necessarily the best companion. On a beautiful sunday morning, when I was going out for a walk with my dog, I unfortunately met an angry wild dog with eyes staring at me and likely to attack me. Cookie was ready to protect and save me without caring about his survival. Cookie has a paramount importance in my life and I promise myself to take care of him carefully.

In my daily life, I have some hobbies such as travelling, cooking, listening to music and so on. However, I enjoy reading book most. To me, books are always a good friend. Firstly, reading books makes me feel relaxed after many long stressful hours at school. I really comic books because they contain a lot of colorful and interesting images that keep my spirit relax. Secondly, reading books is a good way to improve my vocabulary and grammar. For example, reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Harry Potter. In conclusion, I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.
Hi everyone. Today I am going to talk about my freetime. At my freetime, I have a lot of activities to do, but I love listening a music. Listening is also a way to relax when you are too tired. I often choose relax songs. It helps me feel more comfortable and reduce stress. When I do the housework, I also listen ing to music,too. Why ?? Once by chance, I witnessed the scene where Mi Mi caught a mouse was really the item. She crouched after bending skillfully. Like even poetry, she tried to keep it real first. Feeling so silent, a little mouse emerged from the oven, looking horizontally and vertically. The rat seemed reassured to move towards the rice bowl, Mi Mi remained motionless. The mouse and the rice were closer and closer, Mi Mi cowered. The rat has come close to the rice bowl and is sure to have a full meal. Like a compressed spring just waiting to pop out, Mi Mi Mi arrived like an arrow. The obnoxious little mouse is neatly placed under the border lamp, my Mi Mi is really talented to catch a mouse.
English is my favorite subject, and the benefits I get from it is beyond what I thought I could have. First of all, each skill in English gives me a good reflex that I can apply in other subjects as well as my daily life. For example, listening skill makes me become a better listener, and speaking skill helps me to become a better communicator. Second; while I am learning English, I have to search for a lot of materials to support my knowledge as well as my skills. In parular, I listen to more English songs, watch more movies and English channels, and read more books and arles. All of them help me to approach to more sources of information; therefore, I can earn more than just my skills. Third, English is not simply a language, but there are a whole culture and concept behind it. When I first started to learn English, I spent a lot of time doing research about the Western culture and lifestyle. After a certain time, I discovered that there are a lot of useful things to learn from that. It helps me have a more open mind, and I can see the world from other perspective. In conclusion, every language has a bigger meaning than just a communicating tool. By learning English, I do not only know an international language, but I also learn a lot of things beside it.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience
