Day of the Dead – Mexico

Alan Walker

Walker was born on 24 August 1997 in Northampton, England. At the age of two, he moved to Bergen, Norway with his parents and sister. He initially has no musical background. However, he later taught himself by watching tutorials on YouTube based on music production.

He started all his music on his laptop with FL Studio. In July 2012, with the help and feedback from his fan online, he began pursuing his music production career and slowly began posting his music to YouTube and Sound Cloud.

Walker released the track “Fade” on 17 August 2014. It has become the most popular track on YouTube. Some of his other famous songs include “Sing Me to Sleep”, “Alone”, “Routine”. “A lot of people ask me why I am wearing a mask. A regular item on the menu was fried potatoes, an idea that started in France. At that time, French fried potatoes were into thick slices. One day, a dinner guest sent his fried potatoes back the chef because he did not like them so thick. So, Mr. Crum cut the potatoes a little thinner and fried them. The guest did not like those either. Mr. Crum was very angry. He sliced the potatoes paper-thin and fried them. He just want to show the guest that he was angry but the guest loved the crispy, thin potatoes. Other dinners tried them and also like them. So, Mr. Crum’s potato chips were added to the menu. Eventually, Mr. Crum opened his own restaurant to sell his famous chips. Now potato chips are packaged and sold in grocery stores worldwide.
