I am very happy to write to you. Now it's almost Mid-Autumn Festival, let me tell you about Mid-Autumn Festival. Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the full moon day of the 8th lunar month every year. It is considered one of the most important holidays in the year cyar. And every year I am eagerly waiting for that day to come. In our village, everyone will set up camps in the villages and compete against each other to see which camp is better, this year, our village will try to win the first prize. Not only that, in the villages will hold an entertainment competition and it will also be expected.

Amongst the special holidays in my country, Tet is my favorite one. Tet is an occasion for everyone to get together in a warm and exciting atmosphere. Before Tet, everyone prepares many things like plants or foods and decorates their house. I plant a lot of beautiful flowers in front of my house and buy clothes, foods in preparation for Tet. Besides, most of the streets also are beautifully decorated with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spend much time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues, especially on the first 3 days. I give them sincere wishes for the new year. Tet is also a period when children can receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things throughout Tet, which makes Tet’s atmosphere like heaven to me. I love Tet!

Tet is one of the most important holiday in Viet Nam and many Asian countries. Tet or Lunar New year is often held at the end of January or the beginning of February. Vietnamese people always do many different things to prepare for Tet. Before Tet some weeks, people always repaint their house, clean the house and around. They also decorate their houses with Kumquat tree, cherry blossom branches or many colourful flowers. Then they make many traditional food such as Chung cake, pickled onions. Children are bought new clothes by their parents. All of the family members gather to give each other the best wishes and have a meal on New Year's Eve. On the first day of new year, people visit relatives’ house and give lucky money to children or the elderly. In the rest time of Tet, people can go to pagodas to pray for good things, peace, and health. To conclusion, Tet is an occasion for all people to reunion and relax after a hard-working year.

Người Việt Nam luôn làm nhiều việc khác nhau để chuẩn bị cho Tết. Trước Tết vài tuần, bao giờ người ta cũng sơn lại nhà, dọn dẹp nhà cửa và xung quanh. Thời gian còn lại của Tết, mọi người có thể đi lễ chùa để cầu những điều tốt lành, bình an và sức khỏe. Tóm lại, Tết là dịp để mọi người đoàn tụ, thư giãn sau một năm làm việc vất vả.

I love Tet the most.It is also called Luar New Year,which is held mainly in Asian countries.On this holiday,we will have a lot to do.Before Tet about a week or two,people started to sell and buy flower,fruit,snacks,...along with incense.You can buy them easily because things are sell along the street.It is a beautyful and fun sight.Then,people will repaint the house,clean and decorate it.The houses are look so beautyful!Then on the 29th of the 12th lunar month,we will wait until the clock strike 12o'clock.It is very fun but also tired to wait for the time of the old year finally pass.On the first day,people will sing karaoke and eat the traditional foods,sweets and alot.Then we will offer foods,flower and incense for our ancestors and visit our relatives.I love this festival because it is fun and give me happiness,and giving me a great time with my family,friends and ralatives.

In Tet holiday, the streets are very beautiful with green trees , flowers, and funny noisy. In every house, there are a big tree with many love flowers and plants. Any things else? Yes, there are a lot of delicous drinks, cakes and candies. In Tet holiday, children have money from adults. It's so greet. We enjoy a happy Tet holiday every years. Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

Ngoài ra, nhà và đường luôn sạch sẽ, và đẹp đẽ bởi vì tất cả đều sẵn sang cho một năm mới. mọi người có không gian ấm cúng và khảong thời gian vui vẻ với các thành viên trong gia đình. Đây là thời điểm để mọi người sống ở mọi miền đất nước sum họp và dành thời gian cho nhau. Tết là cơ hội để mọi người quay trở về nhà sau những áp lực và căng thẳng từ môi trường học tập và làm việc. Tết không chỉ là một ngày lễ thong thường, nó là văn hoá à lối sống của người Việt bởi vì ý nghĩa sâu xa của nó rất thiêng liêng và quan trọng. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

In Viet Nam,Tet is a traditional holiday.Last year,i was very happy.This is first time in Tet I have been in Bien Hoa.I was in my uncle's house.My family and my relatives gathered.My grand mother,my mother and my aunt cooked Chung Cake and traditional foods like meat storage vessel,melon soup.We have many fruits.In front of the house was two apricot trees,the marigolds.Everybody was happy,and we shared what we do in old year and plan in new year.On new year's Eve,we watched fireworks and said to everybody"Good you have a lucky year".I love Tet so much because I receive the lucky money.Although one day,I will grow up but I hope to receive lucky money from who people older than me.

Lunar New Year Festival often falls between late January and early February; it is among the most important holidays in Vietnam. Officially, the festival includes the 1st, 2nd and 3rd day in Lunar Calendar; however, Vietnamese people often spend about nearly a month to celebrate this special event.
Tet Holiday gets its beginning marked with the first day in the Lunar Year; however, its preparation starts long before that. One week before the holiday, in the 23rd day of the last Lunar month, is East Day—a ritual worshiping Kitchen Gods (Tao Cong). It is believed that each year on this day, these Gods go to heaven to tell Jade Emperor about all activities of households on earth. On the New Year’s Eve, they return to earth to continue their duties as taking care of families.
On the New Year’s Day, the first ones who come to visit households—called first-foot—are very important and hence need to be well chosen, as they are believed to hold in their hands the entire luck of the family in New Year (Tan Nien). After that, till the third day or even the fourth day of Tet, individuals meet relatives, friends and colleagues, wishing them all kinds of good things happiness, health and success.

Mid_Autumn festival is one of the popular celebrations in the Viet Nam. Every year,it's on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. It's organized so that people celebrate the largest full moon in the year. In that festival, children wear masks, parade on the street have parties with special cakes and lots of fruits.

Tet is the most important occasion of Vietnam, together with Lunar New Year's culture of East Asian countries. Before Tet, there are other days to prepare, such as "Tet" (23rd lunar month) and "Sunday" (29th or 30th lunar month).
Because of the Lunar New Year, Vietnamese Tet Lunar New Year (also known as Tet Lunar New Year). Due to the three-year rule of the lunar month of the lunar calendar, the first day of the year of the Lunar New Year is never before 21 January and after 19 February the lunar calendar usually falls between late January and mid-February. Calendar. The annual Lunar New Year usually lasts about 7 to 8 days at the end of the last year and 7 days at the beginning of the new year (23 December to the end of 7 January).

The Mid-Autumn festival dates back to the Rice Civilization of the Red River delta, over 4,000 years ago. It is held on the 15th day on the 8th lunar month (often in late September or early October) in the middle of autumn and it is celebrated for a whole day. Besides the Tet Holiday, Mid-Autumn festival is one of the most famous festivals and it is a traditional celebration for Vietnamese children.
Children are provided with many nice lanterns - star lanterns, flower lanterns and diverse funny masks for special performance in the evening of the full moon. Everywhere is fallen in the active and colorful air. The main point of the Mid-Autumn is that children use the beautiful lanterns, wear funny masks, perform fantas lion dances and sing folklore songs in the house's grounds or on the streets when the moon is rising.
Moon cakes are the specific cakes and are only on this festival. Moon cakes, which are made from flavor, meat, egg, dried fruit, pumpkin's seed, peanut, are so sweet and good tasting. Moon cakes symbolize Luck, Happiness, Health and Wealth on the Mid-Autumn day.
Apart from moon cakes and lanterns, the other most visible tradition related to Mid-Autumn festival is the lion dance. On the nights leading up to the holiday, groups of children parade through the streets – some of the children maintain a martial beat on drums, while others control an extravagantly decorated 'lion' crafted from molds and paper.
The children approach homes and businesses and ask the owners for their permission to perform. If they agree, the children put on a show that is believed to bring a blessing of luck and fortune. Afterwards the host gives the children lucky money as a sign of gratitude.
Mid-Autumn celebration is also an opportunity for members of the family to get together and share everything in their year. The young generation express their gratitude to the old generation. The parents show their love for their children. For others, because the traditional time to have this festival is usually after harvesting the crops, it is as the congratulation for the full harvest
