Hello! My name is David. I work for a construction company. I started working for this company in 2004. We build roads, dams, bridges and things like that. At the moment my company is producing a plan for a new motorway. I usually work in the road department, but this month I am working in the department that builds bridges. So my whole working day is different just now. I normally spend a lot of time outdoors because I have to go to the construction sites. But with this new project I spend a lot of time in the workshop. We moved into our new house on a warm September day. It was not really a new house; it was hundred and four years old, but it was new to us. The house had running water, gas and electricity, but for some reasons there were no electric lights in the kitchen. FIRST DAY AT WORK
Well, Trisha, that's my own first day at my new job out of the way. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out okay. My manager was really nice, much => bỏ nicer than yours boss sounds from your letter. No sooner had i arrived at work than did he made me a cup of tea! It was a really pleasant surprise. Not only did he do that, but he was also kind enough to explain to me how everything worked. The office is really modern and its comfortable. The other people all have their own desks, but mine => my desk still hasn't been delivered, so i'm sharing with someone else for now. Little did i not realise when i took the job that i was going to enjoy it so much. I have finally found a job that i am happy in => bỏ, and so will you have, i'm sure. Hope tomorrow's as much fun!
