I have a memorable childhood which has many experiences. One of the experiences I remember most is the first time I was invited to a birthday party. I was a 6-year-old girl and I had a bestfriend whose name is Lisa. We were very close and seemed we couldn’t live without each other until her birhtday. It was a beautiful morning when Lisa invited me to her birthday party and had no idea about how great her party would be if she didn’t ask me to attend. I was very happy and decided to make my bestfriend surprise by giving her a puppy as a present. Lisa didn’t dog or any animal but I almost forgot about that. I was confident to give her my present in her birthday and immediately realized that she didn’t my little dog which I myself chose to buy 3 days ago. While the party was going on, I stood in a corner of the room and watched how much she loved other normal presents such as teddy bear, dolls or crayons. I felt dissapointed but that was not the worst thing. About 20 mintues later, Lisa’s father gave a sign that was the time to taking out a birthday cake. It was the biggest birthday cake I had ever seen. The light went off. As soon as it went on, somebody screamed “It’s a puppy in the cake”. Everyone was surprise and they recognized that was my puppy. They looked at the puppy and then looked at me. I glanced to Lisa. She said nothing and about to cried. I was very confused and ashamed. I carried my puppy, said sorry to Lisa and ran out of the party. I couldn’t believe that I had just broken my bestfriend’s birthday cake because of a silly decision. I learned that never bring any animal with me to a party, especially bestfriend’s birthday party. It’s an experience that I won’t forget for the rest of my life. Luckily Lisa forgave me and we are still friend up to now. She always reminded me about her 6th birthday and we laughed a lot.

I always love to go out with my family, and going to Dam Sen theme park was one of my favorite event. We went there in the early in the morning to get the ket because it was weekend. Once we got inside the park, we started to follow the map to visit everywhere. First, we bought some snacks and drinks to eat on the way, then we sat down near the lake to have a small picnic. Next, we joined in the playground section to play many different interesting games. My sister, my father and I decided to went inside the haunted house while my mother stood outside. I screamed as loud as I could, and I ended up having a sore throat. Later we got on the roller coaster, the racing cars and rode the fake bulls. Most of the time my mother just stood outside and kept our belongings, but sometimes she also joined some easy games as well. We left the park in the evening, and it was such a great day to create memories with my family.

In eighteen years of my life, I have never been prouder of myself than the day I got my driving license. After my birthday, my father suggested that it was about time for me to have a bike of my own, and it also meant I need to have a proper driving license. He took me to driving school so I could learn and prepare for my upcoming test. Since I had no experience with motorbike and traffic law, I spent more than a month to studied theory as well as pracing, and that was the toughest month for me so far. At the due day, I even thought that I needed some pills to keep my heart beating at its normal speed. I passed the writing test quite easily, but all of my confidence suddenly disappeared when I enter the pracing test. Although I had been on a lot of examinations in many different subjects at school, that one had been the longest and most pressure test in my entire life. I saw many people failed to finish the 8 line, and it really challenged my nerve. My father was almost as nervous as me, but he told me to take a deep breath to calm down. He said that all I needed to do was to relax and believe in myself. The last thing I remember was that I climbed on the bike and headed to that 8 line. All of the next minutes were blurred by my anxiety and sweat, but somehow I finished my test perfectly. When I stepped out, that was a really tight hug from my dad that reminded me I had passed my driving test, and I felt I was on the cloud. After that day, my mother often made fun of me and my dad. She said that we all exaggerated the whole test, and it was not that proud to get such an ordinary license. Although it was not a big thing, the day I passed my driving test will always be my unforgettable event.

Last summer, my family decided to have a small vacation in Thailand, and that was the most memorable experience for me. Since that was my first trip to an abroad country, I was really excited about that. I spent an entire week just to pack my suitcase, and I could not sleep on the night before the flight. The roads to the airport were full with happiness and excitement, and the airport appeared a space station that could take me to the moon. After checking in, my parents chose to sit at a coffee shop to wait for the flight while I decided to explore around the whole area. After about an hour on the plane, we finally made it to Thailand. We took taxi to go our hotel, and I was an over - reacting puppy that had its first ride on car. Bangkok – the capital of Thailand was a perfect place for us to spend our vacation. We went to Platinum Mall, wandered along the streets of the night markets to enjoy the scenes and buy a lot of clothes as well as foods. Thai cuisine was a whole new concept for us, but we did enjoy it totally. At nights, we went to Khaosan Road, which was a place for foreigners to gather. I met a lot of nice people, and I had chance to make friends with two lovely native girls and one boy from Australia. Most of people in Thailand were so friendly and helpful. They helped us a lot in showing us the ways and how to use MRT – the most efficient kind of transportation there. We spend a whole week in Thailand, but I felt so sad on the day we had to go back to Vietnam. That trip was such a wonderful experience for me, and I hope that I will have chance to visit that beautiful country again to explore more about it.

Chúng tôi đến trung tâm thương mại Platinum, lang thang dọc theo những con đường chợ đêm để thưởng thức khung cảnh và mua thật nhiều quần áo cũng như thức ăn. Ẩm thực Thái là một khái nhiệm hoàn toàn mới với chúng tôi, nhưng chúng tôi đã thưởng thức nó trọn vẹn. Vào ban đêm, chúng tôi đến đường Khaosan, nơi mà những người ngoại quốc thường xuyên tụ tập. Tôi gặp rất nhiều người tốt, và tôi đã có cơ hội kết bạn với hai cô bạn Thái đáng yêu và một cậu bạn người Úc. Hầu hết người ở Thái Lan đều thân thiện và biết giúp đỡ người khác. Họ giúp chúng tôi tìm đường và chỉ chúng tôi cách sử dụng MRT – một loại phương tiện giao thông hiệu quả nhất ở Bangkok. Chúng tôi ở lại Thái cả một tuần lễ, nhưng tôi vẫn cảm thấy buồn khi phải quay trở về Việt Nam. Chuyến đi đó quả thật là một kỷ niệm tuyệt vời đối với tôi, và tôi hi vọng mình lại có cơ hội ghé thăm đất nước xinh đẹp đó để khám phá thêm nhiều điều về nó.

When I was 5 years old I had a pleasant experience. That was when my grandparents went home to play, so careless I got lost. At first I didn’t even know I was lost. I kept going straight until I got tired of my legs and couldn’t walk anymore. At that time I knew I was lost. At first I was so scared, I cried loudly and called my parents. Everyone passing by looked at me. But I’m thinking of kidnappers. Due to fear of being found lost, I immediately stopped crying. I go against the original direction. I stood at a convenience store and waited for my parents to come find me. The owner of the convenience store saw me standing there for a long time afraid I was hungry, so gave me a cake. By the evening my parents found me. Getting lost is scary but I find that after that time I have grown a lot. I also confidently handle unexpected situations better.

I am 13 years old this year, the equivalent of 13 birthday parties in my life. Out of those 13 birthday parties, the most memorable one for me was my 10th birthday party. That day, my class came, everyone was happy to attend. Birthday party was so fun, with all the laughter and jokes, it seemed like this would become my best birthday party. Last Sunday evening, I went to my girlfriend's to attend her twentieth birthday party. When I arrived there, all the guests were gathering in the large living room of her house. In the middle of the room, there was a large table with a big birthday cake and many beautiful flowers on it. At exactly 8 p.m. the hostess announced the reason for the party. Then she blew out the 20 small candles on the cake. She cut the cake into slices, went around the room and gave a piece of cake to each person. Like everybody else, I gave her a nice gift together with my best wishes. After that, we talked, played and sang cheeríỉlly until 11 p. m. At that time her mother came into the room and expressed her sincere thanks to everybody before they left. It was such a pleasant birthday party! I had a good time there.

I can never forget my 17th birthday party at a popular buffet restaurant. It’s our family tradition that we will celebrate the 17th birthday with a big party. On that day, I wore a beautiful white dress and a silver necklace given by my mom. I had invited all of my best friends, my parents had invited our close relatives too. When I came to the restaurant, I saw many balloons and ribbons. The decoration was so lovely, I had nothing to complain about. The party began at 5.30 p.m, people came with a lot of presents and bouquets for me. Because it was a buffet party so we could eat anything we wanted. After one hour, a big birthday cake was brought out with 17 candles on it. My friends and my family sang the “Happy Birthday” song. They were clapping their hands happily when I made a wish and blew the candles. Then everyone gathered to take a photo together. The biggest event that happened to me lately was my graduation ceremony. It was on the beginning of September, when most students had just started their new semester. The ceremony was at my university, and we were all present at about 7 AM. When I got there, I had already worn the hat and black cape outside my white shirt with long pants. First I had to find seats for my parents, and then I moved to a separated section for students. We sat in lines to wait for our names to be called. When the MC called my name, I felt that my heart nearly jumped out of my chest, so I had to take a really deep breath to stay calm. The stage was beautifully decorated, and there were a lot of people taking pictures. I felt I was a celebrity, and that thought kept me confident for the rest of the ceremony. Later my friends and parents gave me a lot of flowers and presents, and that was the happiest day of my life so far.
My childhood has many beautiful memories under the roof of primary school. There is a story about a friendship that I will never forget. That's how Dai helped me when I fell down.
