After the stressful hours at school, some of the spare time at the end of the day is the time I spend to do what I like. Usually I would choose to listen to music, when I am in sad moods I hear soft ballads. In happy times I listen to Pop music in order to dance to the catchy tunes. When I have to deal with stressful issues, I listen to classical music to ease my nerve. Besides listening to music, reading and writing are some of the things that I love to do every time I have free time. I do not limit the genres of stories that I choose read, I can read from comics, horror to science fiction as long as I find it interesting. Thanks to reading a lot of books, my writing skills have improved a lot, and my vocabulary has also become richer. Whenever I have ideas, I often turn my thoughts into stories. I write about a lot of things, from the realistic life around me, the additional details in my favorite books to what I imagine. At first I wrote stories only for some of my close friends to read, but they suggested that I should post them on the websites so people could read and leave comments. Those compliments and comments made me feel very happy and proud of myself. I sometimes go out with my friends, and we like to go to many beautiful places to take pictures. We also love to go to the cinema together to watch the latest films, and then we go shopping or eat together. Those relaxing times add energy so I can start my other work efficiently. It is so great that I can do whatever I want, as long as I do not bother anyone.
In my free time, I enjoy engaging in various activities that help me relax and unwind. One of my favorite pastimes is reading. I love getting lost in the pages of a good book and immersing myself in different worlds and stories. Another activity I enjoy is going for long walks in nature. It allows me to connect with the beauty of the outdoors and clear my mind. Additionally, I find solace in practicing yoga and meditation. These activities help me find inner peace and maintain a healthy balance in life. Lastly, I also enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, whether it's having a movie night at home or going out for a nice meal together. Overall, my free time activities are a mix of solitary and social pursuits that bring me joy and fulfillment

Chúng ta có rất nhiều hoạt động nhưng chúng ta không dành hết thời gian để làm những hoạt động đó. Chúng ta còn phải dành thời gian vui chơi và nghỉ ngơi. Những lúc này gọi là thời gian rảnh. Tet, also known as Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, …and candies are the foods that must have on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes. However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors,… Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success,… To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year around, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful messages of Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about back to origins, be good to others, enjoy the precious moment, and wish for the best to come.

There are a lot of activities that you can do in your leisure time. Some people are so tired of work that they prefer to use their free time just for resting and sleeping. Others spend their free time on their favourite activities. For example, they listen to music, play their favourite musical instrument, go on a picnic, take a trip, go to the nature and enjoy the fresh air, hang out with their friends, go partying, go shopping, visit their relatives, spend some time with their kids and play games with them, read and write, watch TV, watch movies or cartoons, go to the theatre, surf the net, cook, do some gardening, etc. Some people like me choose reading book or novel to relax . Among different kinds of book , I prefer reading novel .
Firstly, reading makes me feel comfortable after many long stressful hours at school. Secondly, reading novel provides me a great deal of diverse knowledge of many fields. For instance, I can know more specific culture of each country in The World’s Cultures novel. In addition, I can know more things about different life of various animals that are living around the world in the Discovery of Animals World book. Finally, reading helps to enhance my vocabulary in both Vietnamese and English language. In Vietnamese book, I can learn many traditional folks or proverbs that help me understand more deeply the beauty of my mother tongue. About English books, I can improve my English reading comprehension skill in study. Besides, my communication skill with the foreigners will be better, too. In conclusion, I really like reading books, for it brings many good things to me. I see it as an useful activity to learn how to make life more meaningful and beautiful.
