People say that book is the endless source of knowledge, and luckily my favorite activity in my free time is reading books. I read many different kinds of books, such as science fiction, documentary, and horror stories. I live in two different worlds, the first one is my daily life, and the second one in is in the books. I can spend hours reading about a thrilling adventure, a remarkable discovery, or a magical journey. I find those details become more and more realis when I am deep in to them, and I can experience another fascinating world. Among many books that I have read, my favorite series is Harry Potter. The story is about a little wizard with his great journey to destroy the dark force. I have been reading books since I was a kid; therefore I have a rich imagination and plenty of ideas about almost everything. Everyone has his or her own hobby, and I am glad that I spend my free time and my mind on something that is very helpful.

I watching movies, especially horror and action movies. I find myself a stronger person when I watch these films. There is another hobby that I really enjoy – gathering with my friends for chatting. I the Thailand and Chinese cuisines because they are tasty and spicy. Moreover, I enjoy myself by swimming and reading books when I am alone.

It is Ha Long Bay is in Quang Ninh province. It is very far. It's about 100km from my house. I can get there by bus. It's very very beatiful. It has many islands, caves and seafood. I take a boat ride to Tuan Trau islands and sunbathe on the beach. I hope I'll have a chance to visit is next summer.

In the world, we have a lot of the heritage site but in Vietnam, the most beautiful place that all of the visitors to travel there. This is Ha Long Bay. As you know, Ha Long Bay is a small bay belong to a part of the Northern Bay in the east north of Vietnam include land and sea areas of Ha Long city in Quang Ninh. Ha Long Bay is a best place to travel on holiday, in here attractive many visitor special is the foreign. Moreover Ha Long Bay have some of famous cave that have many secrets here, it is waiting for you to discover it. You can imagine it the sea is blue and the air is so fresh for you to breath. The sun shine is warming. As well as you can feel relax when you arrive there. Ha Long Bay had been recognize the heritage site in 1994. All in all, if you never been there let try to go there because it can make you feel relax after the year you work a lot and you can see or explore the culture and some caves or the food in here. That is amazing for the first time you set your foot there. Don't forget to invite some members in your family to go with you and have a great vacation with this places. It promises to bring for you many many amzing thing that you ever seen it before.

In my family , there are 5 people : my father , my mother , my sister , my brother and me . My mother is a teacher teaches in the school near Hoa Binh market . My father is a mechanical , he works at home . Sister , brother and me are student study in the school . We are very nice . I love my family .

There are five of us in my family. I don’t have any siblings. I would have d a sister. I am the only child. My mother’s name is Mai, and she is 50 years old. She is a beautiful woman with long black hair. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. We all have a busy lives in day. However in the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. My father plays with me on weekends and he teaches me cycling and swimming. My mother makes delicious food for me and also plays with me when she gets time. She also teaches me little cooking. During weekends, we spent time together and sometimes we go for an outing or a movie and enjoy our weekends. On working days, though they are busy, they try spending time with us and looking after our homework and other day to day activities.

Winter is my favourite season. I love everything about it. I the cold weather, which always makes the sky seem so blue. I also being able to see my breath in the cold air.
In summer, it's difficult to keep cool outside, but in winter, it's easy to keep warm. I really hiking in winter. The cold really makes you feel alive.
It's also great getting home to a nice warm room. Winter also has the best holidays. I love getting together with my family and then celebrating the New Year.
Winter is a really good time to go on vacation because the sights are usually empty. If you go anywhere in Europe in winter, you can be sure of getting a hotel room and you never have to wait to get into a museum.

My family is a small one with only three members: my mother, my brother, and I. My mother is a great woman who has always taken very good care of my brother and me.Unfortunately, she is currently unemployed, but we feel secure with her at home when we are. Every morning she fixes breakfast for us, and then my brother, who is in tenth grade, either walks or rides the bus to Overfelt High School. On the other hand, I work at Micro Lamba Wireless Company, but when I am not working I study English at San Jose College. Not only do my brother and I differ in age and occupation, but we are un in personality. While I am shy and quiet, my brother is very amusing because he is always telling jokes or saying something funny. In brief, we may be just a small family, but we always spend a good time together since our mother is so caring and my brother so amusing.

Good morning friends! My name is Van Anh. I'm going to introduce myself.I have born and grown up in Vietnam and I'm a student at Tam Son Secondary School . As for my family, I've just one brother older than me. My father is a Journalist cum Music Artist. My mother has been taking care of house hold. I am a friendly person, good thinker, flexible to work in any shift. I can work for longer hours without any break, only if I'm interested in that...My life style is very simple. I'm interested in many things such as music, reading novels, watching movies. I love to read love stories and suspense thrillers. I wanna improve my English skills. I'm glad to have here. My other hobbies including being with my friends. I'm personally interested in becoming an Animator & Graphic Designer, however, there are many different career opportunities. My name is Tuan Anh. I am a senior in high school. Everyone can agree that I am a good student and that I to study. My favorite subjects are chemistry and biology. I am going to enter the university because my goal is to study these subjects in future and to become a respected professional in one of the fields.
I can say that I am a responsible and a hard-working student. Moreover, being a sociable person, I have many friends since I to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals. I enjoy my time at school: it is really nice to study and the students are very friendly and ready to help. The atmosphere cannot but make me want to go there every time. I to receive and deal with challenging tasks. I am a very enthusias student and I think this is a strong point of mine.
My friends say that I am a very funny and an interesting girl with a good sense of humor. As soon as I meet new people who are happy to meet me, I feel extremely comfortable with them. Exercise 1: I went to the concert last night with my friends
Dear Oanh,
Thank you very much for your letter which arrived a few days ago. It was lovely to hear from you. I am sorry, I haven’t written for you such along time because I studied hard to pass the final exam. However, I had agreat weekend more than every when I went to live concerts last night with my friends. Now, I am writing to tell you how the wonderful concert is.
It is the beautiful concert I have ever taken part in with many people and the miracle of sound of piano. As you know, my pianist is Yiruma and in last concert I couldn’t believe that he appeared in my eyes and gave me a big hug after his performance. I also listen a soothing music which is played by him and other professional musicians. Only when I heard his song from the stage I feel anythings around me seem to disappear and I can fly with many stars on the sky to forget all my fears which I suffered before.
That is amazing.
Let’s come back to my live concert. It is so cool and until now I can’t forget my feeling about it. Do you often to go live concerts? What kind of music do you listening to? Who is your favourite singer?

Exercise 2: We had dinner at a new restaurant yesterday

Thank you very much for your letter which arrived a few days ago. It was lovely to hear from you.
I think the restaurant which you told me in the letter is very interesting. I also to eat out and I usually go to a restaurant for dinner with my family tiwce a month. Our favourite restaurant is a traditional restaurant in Hang Bong street. It is not big but it is always busy. There are only afew tables in the restaurant and on each table is a vase with lovely flowers. There are plants in the room corners. I usually order the traditional dishes and eat them with rice. For example, fish cooked with sauce, spring roll,…and vegetable and so on. The food is deliciuous so we enjoy it very much. The service is also quick and frienfdly . My family always have pleasant evening at our favourite restaurant.
Shall we go there when you come to visit my family next time?

Thank you for our class’ photo you sent me afew days ago. I was so glad to write for you and tell you about my feeling after I receive it.
That photograph made me remember my old teacher who taught us high school. She is slim with along hair and blue eyes. Do you remember her? Our enghlish teacher, her name is Sara. I can’t forget that days when she played game with us in each class and we sang ‘ Anilmal song’ together. I also remember that She was very sad when our class didn’t do homework and we felt so guilty with her. Then we studied Enghlish hard to fix our mistakes and she was so happy. But now she doesn’t still teach Enghlish in Viet Nam. Ha - our classmates said she came back England with her husband. I hope she would come to Viet nam, I will meet her because I miss her so much. It is so wet here. I am writing to tell you about the weather in my country. In my country, it is in spring with high humidity. My country is a tropical monsoon climate. Broadly speaking, the weather in Viet Nam is dicated by two monsoon seasons the southwest monsoon from April to September and the northeast monsoon from October t late March or early April. Moreover the northeast monsoon effects bring lower temperatures to my city, Ha noi and all days in Ha noi is in rain. In fact, I am fed up with rainy day because I can't go out to shopping with my friend. Only thing I can do in these days is writing letter for you and tell you about the terrible weather here. As you are living in temperature climate It's a great ideal to have a holiday in tropical country Viet Nam. You can experience sunny and windy days here. So, why do you go to Nha trang beach? It is one of our most beautiful beachs and is in recognition of the world as the most attactive destination in Viet Nam. I am sure you enjoy bathing in the sunshine and swimming in freshwater and surfing. If you , I can help you book a tour for you to know mre about other interesting places in Nha trang such as temples, pogodas,...Nha trang is also famous for saefood. Therefore, It is a paradise of food for you to enjoy. I think this place is good one for you to relax and enjoy yourself and get rid of worries as well as stress.
