Intelligent Robots play a vital role in modern days. Besides benefits, we must consider disadvantages when using them.
First, look at the most positive points. Thanks to robots and A.I technology, the number of workforce can be reduced but the production even increases more, especially in the manufacturing industry. The robots can perform the tasks faster than the humans and much more consistently and accurately. They can work at places 24/7 without any salary and food. Additionally, they don’t get bored. In medicine, they helps doctors to diagnose diseases, do the surgeries, especially tiny surgeries with highest accuracy. In some hospitals, the robotic pets can help the patients with depression and they keep them active.
On the contrary, robots bring about some troubles. First and for most, training is needed to operate the system, so we need to pay for scientists and trainees, maintenance and reparation expenditure, which raise the cost overall. Another point I’d like to mention is the machine malfunction, which creates lots of troubles and confusions, and even sometimes lead to unexpected accidents. It’s reported that a robot in a car manufacturing factory killed a worker. This results in a worrisome of people using A.I for medical purposes. Furthermore, the robots are not able to act any different from what they are programmed to do. With the heavy application of robots, the humans may become overly dependent on the machines, losing their mental capacities. If the control of robots goes in the wrong hands, the robots may cause the destruction.
In conclusion, I suppose that we need to take advantages of A.I to make our life better, but remember its dangers and risks to take precaution timely.

Nowadays, the growing development of means of transportation has made traveling between countries easier than ever, creating enormous conditions for people going abroad for holidays to enjoy themselves. However, travelling to foreign country sometimes brings about some disadvantages for the travelers who are not well-prepared.
In this essay, I will present the benefits and drawbacks of having a holidays in a foreign country.
On the one hand, travelling overseas can benefit you in some aspects as follows:
Firstly, being in a different country can give you an exciting moment when seeing many historical places and spectacular monuments. This memory will leave a good impression on your mind afterwards. For instance: the gorgeous scenery and old age temples in Thailand has made me excited and impressed when seeing these places of interest.
Secondly, living in a foreign country and having their local dishes can give you a completely new experience in having their traditional food, which you have never tasted i your own country. In fact, being on the tour of Beijing, I had a chance of enjoying the dish of Fried Duck which has been the tastiest and softest meat I have ever tried so far.
Thirdly, staying abroad can help you understand traditional values and characteristics through joining their festivals and other cultural activities. For instance, taking part in the Watering Festival in Laos and Thailand might be a great joy for travelers to understand their unique customs in welcoming New year.
On the other hand, while having holidays in an exotic country, people can cope with some drawbacks as follows.
Firstly, language barrier is the most difficult problem for you to overcome, especially in a country which English is not popular. In reality, it is very difficult for tourists to read traffic signs and public billboards in some Arabic countries with a strange type of letters which is totally different from our Latin alphabet.
Secondly, in some cases, you will be got in trouble just in case of being sick without lots of money in your pocket. The cost of treatment will be much higher in your country, especially in case you had no medical insurance.
Thirdly, travelling abroad can cost you a lot of money. You must have a good preparation for your trip including : airfares, travelling and hotel costs and other expenses during your journey. A well-prepared plan can bring you some comforts during the journey to an exotic country.
In conclusion, going abroad can give you unforgettable memories about gorgeous land, familiar people, unique customs and delicious foods which you have never experienced before. However, to be satisfied with these enjoyment, you should have a good preparation for the budget, knowledge about the foreign country that you will visit.
Nowadays, more and more people around the world travel abroad to spend their holidays there. It is also easier and easier for people to go around the world thanks to globalization. Therefore, the number of foreign tourists is continuously increasing in every countries in the world, especially developed countries. Along with many benefits and joyfulness it brings when travelling abroad, there are also some disadvantages that people have to suffer from. So what are they? In this essay, I am going to show you the good and bad things about having a vacation in other countries. First, people desire to go abroad because they want to discover new lands, a place that they have never been to. Each country has different climate, scenery, people, culture, food and so on, so people want to see those differences, enjoy the new things in other countries. People around the world are attracted by the country's architecture. In particular, the architectural designs between the East and the West is different and each country has its own architecture, therefore, it brings people enthusiasm and satisfaction when they set foot in the strange nation. Tourists are not only attracted by man-made building but also by natural scenery. Beautiful beaches with turquoise water and white sand, marvelous mountain ranges with snow on top or forests with diverse plants and animals attract millions people from all over the world to explore. That must be great experiences! Other excellent factors that tourists want to discover when travelling overseas are food and culture. The food around the world is diverse and delicious, too. Even though the foreign food is tasty or not, the feelings when we eat are the exciting and unforgettable memories. Besides, different cultures also bring excitement for travellers during their journeys. Hence, travelling abroad brings us not only knowledge about different places in the world but also the great memories that we will never forget in the future. On the other hand, travellers also suffer from many troubles before and during their trip abroad. The tourists have to do many preparations which take lots of time to finish. Although a trip abroad nowadays is easier than it was a few years ago, people must make sure about the information in passports, visas, international driving permits and variety of documents they will need to bring along the trip. Furthermore, not getting knowledge about the destination such as the culture, the food, the language can also make tourists confused. For instance, one of my relatives travelled to the UK last year. Before the trip, he was very excited. But when he came back to Vietnam, he told me that he had to eat fast food all three days of the trip because he couldn't speak English. Therefore, the language barrier can make the trip abroad a bit less happy. Tourists should read the brochure that brings information about the place they will visit to get more knowledge in order not to be confused when they are in other countries. Besides, there are also other barriers that prevent travellers from their trip overseas such as money, time, ... It's hard for low-income people or people from developing countries to have a trip outside their countries. Moreover, the increase of working hours, the shorter summer vacation have cut the demand of travelling abroad. However, if travellers think positively about their trip, these barriers are not the problems. It all depends on your attitude. To sum up, travelling abroad can bring enthusiasm and excitement for tourists. They can know more about the world and get some unforgettable memories. Travelling abroad also benefits the tourism industry of the host country, promote the development of tourism, the prosperity of society and contribute to the diversity of human culture. However, people must prepare deeply for the trip to have a healthy and safe trip overseas.

By Mike Cruse
Dear Timmy:
You know, it’s funny, for as long as we’ve known each other, we’ve spent very little time actually around each other. But I really wanted to tell you how much the time we’ve spent together has meant to me, and I also wanted to say thank you.
We don’t really think about it much, but the words “thank you” can accomplish so much and can convey more than one could possibly imagine.
Thank you for being one of the first people to be nice to me in elementary school. I think you saw the fear in my eyes when I showed up at a new school where most of you had kind of grown up around each other. You hung out with me on the playground and would always invite me to play games with you at recess.
Thank you for always being the same back then, no matter what. I sadly hit my popular peak in fifth grade, and even though we were in the same class we didn’t talk so much. That was my fault and I’m sorry.
While I was feeling the joy of being popular, you were being labeled as troublemaker — and worse, a lost cause — by the very adults that were supposed to be guiding us, teaching us, nurturing us. No child should be made to feel that way.

3. As for me I spent a week in Turkey. I took the plane in Paris
and flew for three and a half hours to Izmir. There a woman
was waiting for us to drive us by bus to Kusadasi (pronounced
kouchadaseu). She is a French woman who married a Turkish
man five years ago. She is from Lievin, in the North of France.
She confessed that her husband followed her to France but
he didn't get used to the weather. It was a bit too wet and
too cold for him. So, they went back to Turkey. He then
became the manager of a hotel (not the one we went to) and
she started working for a holidays group at the hotel where
we went.
We arrived in the afternoon at the hotel which is based very
close to the sea. How wonderful it is to have meals almost on
the beach, listening to the waves and looking at the sun
downing in the evening. We could have a glass, then go to the
beach and as soon as we were thirsty come back to the bar
and have another glass before swimming a little. It was very
comfortable. I loved it.
Concerning the site, it was very beautiful. The beach was in
front of us and on the right side, we had a view on the
mountains. We even took a boat to some little beaches on the
edge of these mountains. The water was like a warm bath.
And you'd say, what about Turkish people? They are really
nice. They don't speak a lot of French, but if you can speak English, I assure you you can spend good time with them. I
had the feeling that they didn't know what to do to please us.
I have never met so nice people. I advise you to go there,
really, you'll come back with so many souvenirs in your minds.
It's believed that cultural identity helps us identify ourselves as part of a culture.
This can be shown through the language we use to communicate, the food we often eat, the national clothes we wear on special occasions or festivals and cultural praces.
Among these, I think food and culinary traditions are the most important cultural identifiers.
On an individual level, there is a connection between food and each person's family ties.
We grow up eating the food cooked by our mother or other members in our family, so food becomes closely connected to our family traditions.
Many of us associate food from our childhood with warm feelings and good memories and it reminds us of our families and holds a special and personal value for us.
Food from our family often becomes the comfort food we seek when we miss our family or feel stressed.
I still remember a memorable moment when I was a kid.
I could not eat rice because I had a toothache.
My mother cooked soup and brought it to bed for me.
The flavor of the soup became something very familiar to me.
Now, whenever I feel tired or stressed, I remember the soup my mom used to make for me and I crave that soup.
On a larger scale, food is an important part of national culture.
It helps tell where each of us is from.
Each country has its own national cuisine.
For example, Chinese food mainly has sweet and spicy flavor with a special focus on red color decoration.
Traditional cuisine is passed down from one generation to the next and acts as a prominent expression of cultural identity.
Immigrants bring the food of their countries with them wherever they go and cooking traditional food is a way of preserving their culture when they move to new places.
In conclusion, food connects people to their family and nation, so it is a good reflection of a person's culture identity.
Some people believe cultural identity is how we identify ourselves as part of a culture. This can simply be done through the language we use, the food we often have, or the clothing we often wear on special occasions. In my opinion, festivals and cultural praces celebrated and preserved years after years are the most important cultural identifiers.
Through festivals, we want to express our unity as well as cultural identifier. Originally, festivals are special occasions when people at a parular place stop working in order to celebrate parties or events. They are often connected with religious beliefs of a specific group of people to thank God sand ancestors for good harvests, fortune, and happiness.
Along with festivals, cultural praces are unique ways of expressing who we are and what country or culture we belong to. These are traditionally considered the right things to do in a community. For example, Vietnamese people usually go to pagodas on first days of New Year to pray for good health and happiness. Although we are now in modern time, these traditions are well preserved respectably as a cultural stereotype.
As people all over the world become closer and closer, we share our festivals and cultural praces - the most important features. We organise international festivals and take part in various kinds of cultural events in other countries. This is always the meaningful way of identifying, sharing and preserving cultures.
Nowadays, people have many choices of commuting to work including public transport. However, it’s not always the best solution at all. Let’s consider its pros and cons.
It’s the fact that public transport has many benefits. Firstly, using bus, train,… save you an amount of money. Imagine you drive a private car or motorbike, you must pay for not only the cost of petrol but also the regular maintenance fee. Furthermore, the price of buying one car or motorbike is expensive itself. Bus, tram,… is for everyone, even the lowest-income people. Another advantage I want to mention is that using public vehicle is a method to reduce air pollution and traffic jams. Especially in the city, where the number of vehicles increasing makes the road crowded, the public transport system is developed to deal with traffic jam and reduce the pollutant released by petrol-run vehicles.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages with public transportation. The problem that confuse people most is that it wastes time. Usually, people need to wait for some minutes to catch a bus a train, so they need to be punctually in order not to miss is. In some crowded cities, buses meet difficulties moving among so many vehicle, so people have to wait for quite a long time before the buses come, which annoy them and cause them to be late for schools or work. Besides, as I mentioned above, the fares are cheap so many people want to use it, sometimes it is crowded that it is impossible to breath and convenient for the pickpocket criminals to commit crime.
In conclusion, there are both positive and negative aspects of the using public transportation. Personally, I still believe that public transport is advantageous when the government build a modern public transport system to avoid the drawbacks.
