Traditional costumes of the Vietnamese people tend to be very simple and modest. Men used to wear brown shirts and white trousers. Their headgear is simply a piece of (1)......cloth.... wrapped around the head and their footwear consists of a pair of plain sandals. Its graceful and serene image has become the status for Vietnamese women, being loved by not only the Vietnamese but also foreigners over the world. Nevertheless, formerly Kinh people used to dress rather differently compared with nowadays.
