Each invention usually comes along with its own inventor; however, the Internet - one of the greatest discoveries of mankind in the 20th century has no single inventor. It first started in the United States more than 50 years ago, and it kept evolved through time. For decades, scientists had been using it to communicate and share data with others. Many scientists and researchers had developed the best way of sending information from one computer to another. The very first computer was located in a laboratory at University of California, and it was about the size of a small house. By the end of 1969, there were just four computers that were connected to the Government’s Computer Network, but the network grew steadily during the 1970s. By the end of the 1970s, a computer scientist named Vinton Cerf had developed a way for all of the computers on all of the world’s mini-networks to communicate with one another. The Internet had a significant changing in 1991. That year, a computer programmer named Tim Berners-Lee introduced the World Wide Web: a “web” of information that anyone on the Internet could retrieve. Since then, the Internet has changed in many ways. Most recently, social networking sites Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc have become a popular way for people of all ages to stay connected. Today, we use the Internet for almost everything, and it would be impossible for many people to imagine life without it.

The house I am living in is situated in the suburb of Hanoi city, within thirty minutes drive off the city center. We have lived there for more than twenty years. This is a fairly large house surrounded with a beautiful garden.
My house consists of four bed-rooms, a living-room, a bathroom with a shower, a dinning-room, a kitchen and a toilet. It is air-conditioned and well-furnished. The living-room is decorated beautifully. Paintings by famous artists are hung on the walls. At night, the color neon lights increase the beauty and coziness of the room. There, on Sundays and holidays my father usually spends his time playing chess or drinking tea with his friends. My mother and my younger sisters are kind and hard-working women. They often keep the house clean and tidy.
On hot days of summer, we usually take meals in the garden, under a big tree. It is fairly cool and quiet here. We enjoy our meals in the melodious twitters of birds. On stormy and rainy nights, all family members gather in the living-room, watching television or telling each other about their daily activities.
I love my house very much because it is the place where I was born and have grown up in the education of my father and in the tender loving care of my mother. I have spent my whole childhood in the love and affection of my dear ones with so many sweet memories.
Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born in 1985. He is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world. The legendary Dutch genius Johan Cruyff said he's one of the best ever. Ronaldo became a soccer superstar playing for English team Manchester United, Spain's Real Madrid and for Portugal. He plays in midfield, from where he regularly scores spectacular goals.
Ronaldo started kicking a ball around when he was three. His skill was obvious then and by ten years old, two of Portugal's top clubs wanted to sign him. He joined Sporting Lisbon and became the only player in their history to play for the Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, B team and first-team within one season. His skills soon attracted Europe's big teams.
Manchester United decided Ronaldo was the perfect replacement for David Beckham and signed him in 2003. He set the English Premier League alight in his time there with his silky skills, and helped the team win nine trophies, including the UEFA Champions League. He also picked up the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2008.
In 2009, Ronaldo joined his boyhood heroes Real Madrid and became the most expensive footballer in history. His transfer fee was over $131 million. He broke Real's scoring record in his second season, with 53 goals in all competitions. He bettered that in 2011-12, netting 60 times to help Real win Spain's La Liga. In 2012, Diego Maradona said Ronaldo was "the best player on the planet."
MICHAEL JACKSON
Michael Jackson is one of my favorite singers. He is very famous, so most of all people in the world know him, at least his name. I began to listen to his songs because I was recommended them by my friend, and I was really attracted by them. I have two reasons why I like him.
One of my reasons is that I like his voice and performance as well as his songs, as both “Michael Jackson” and “Jackson Five”. Michael Jackson sings songs very well in his particular high-pitched tone as it can be proved by the big hits of his songs, for example, “THRILLER”, ” BILLIE JEAN” and “MOTOWN 25″ etc, and by the many prizes he got, for instance, the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. Besides, he entertains us with his sharp dance great performance like ” moonwalk”. When I listen to his songs in the morning before I go out, I can feel cheerful and powerful. I am a fan of Jackson Five as well. Before he began to sing by himself, he was the main vocalist of Jackson Five. When Michael was eleven years old, their first single CD, “I Want You Back”, was released, and it was a very big hit all over the world. Michael was still little and cute, but his voice was very vigorous and rhythmical. His songs make me happy and energetic.
Another reasons why I like him is that I am interested in his behaviors. There are always some topics around him. For example, he was under suspicion he treated a little boy cruelly, who was ten years old and Michael’s best friend. Michael insisted on his innocence, but he paid 26 million dollars for reconciliation finally. Though he asserted he paid just to settle the commotion, people said he admitted he was guilty. Moreover, it is said that Michael has the longing to be a white, though he said in a TV program he suffered from the disease that pigment in his skin decolonized. When I saw these news, I considered the problems about child-abuse and human race. How does child-abuse hurt the child’s heart? His or her hurt will not disappear forever. Which human race is inferior or superior? It is not impossible to judge a man by his or her appearance and race. When a famous person such as Michael Jackson has a problem or an event, people all over the world consider it. He always has a topic, which is sometimes worth to think over, so I am very interested in him.
In conclusion, I like him because he entertains me with his voice, dance and performance. Besides, he gives me topics to consider, so I am interested in him. Let’s enjoy his songs and think of his problems.

In a spell of dry weather, when the Birds could find very little to drink, a thirsty Crow found a pitcher with a little water in it.
But the pitcher was high and had a narrow neck, and no matter how he tried, the Crow could not reach the water. The poor thing felt as if he must die of thirst.
Then an idea came to him. Picking up some small pebbles, he dropped them into the pitcher one by one. With each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it was near enough so he could drink.

My people have long traditions of silk weaving to sew clothes or decorative materials. Many people wonder what is silk? I would like to answer that silk is a fine, thin fabric woven with silk. The best silk is made from silk. Silkworms are grown, and weave silkworms into silk. Silk weaving is a long-standing profession and originated in China.
According to the goddess of Co Do village, Ba Vi district, silkworm craft, silk nursery has been from the reign of King Hung Vuong sixth Princess Thieu Hoa started. Accordingly, the villagers who are skilled in silk weaving worship Thieu Hoa as the royal family. In the bibliography, the book also records that the Lac Viet people know how to grow mulberry and silkworm re-write "one year has two rice crop, eight litters "Proverbs for silk, good rice because of faeces," said the way to dress up the appearance and the phrase "Nga Son, Bat Trang brick, Nam Dinh silk, Ha Dong silk "to talk about Van Phuc village (Ha Dong district, Hanoi) is a famous village with beautiful silk weaving with many patterns and ages. Popular songs Ha Dong silk dress of musician Ngo Thuy Mien Nguyen Sa also praised the beauty of Ha Dong silk. The Ha Dong Silk Screening, a film won the "Audience Award" at the Pusan Film Festival, Korea, October 2006, about the beauty of Ha Dong silk dress. In addition, America's Tannery in Tan Chau Town, An Giang is well known.
Silk has many uses such as making clothes, decorations and some other applications in life. Silk garments are suitable for hot weather and are very active because silk is easily absorbed by sweat. Silk clothing is also suitable for cold weather because less heat conduction silk makes the wearer warmer. Because silk looks elegant, iridescent should be used as ornaments as curtains, curtains. In addition to making clothes and making crafts, silk is also used as a parachute (for jumping), bicycle tires, blankets and bags of gunpowder. The armor was previously made from silk to the First World War.
By special treatment, silk can be used as a non-absorbable in surgery. Chinese physicians have used silk to make artificial blood vessels. Silk is also used for writing.
