I have had this little wooden pencil case with me for abut 2 years. It is the most precious gift that i have because it was made for me by my late grandfather for my 11th birthday. My grandfather was a good carpenter. After he retired, he continue to spend his time on woodwork. He liked to work in the garden where it was cooler and larger. I used to sit beside him and watch he hammered away. One day, I couldn't find my grandfather in his unusual place in the garden. After hunting high and low. I found him in his room. His head was bent over a rectangular object and his hands were busy carving something. As soon as he saw me, he hid the object behind his back and smiled guiltily, like someone caught in a naughty act. Just before my birthday, my dear grandfather fell sick. On the eve of my birthday, he passed away. The next day, i found the wooden pencil case in his drawer. There were some words carved on it:"Happy birthday to my beloved grandaughter".I was touched. So that was what my grandfather had been so secretive about. Since that day, i have always cherished the birthday gift from my grandfather. To me, it is a priceless gift.

Around the world there are many cuisine but I still spaghetti the most. The main ingredients to make spaghetti are noodles, beef and tomatoes. Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.

y favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions.

Sở thích yêu thích của tôi là chơi đá bóng vào thời gian rảnh. Sau khi hoàn thành hết bài tập về nhà, tôi hay dùng thời gian rảnh để chơi đá bóng. Tôi đã rất hứng thú với việc chơi bóng từ hồi còn rất nhỏ dẫu vệ tôi bắt đầu học cách chơi bóng tử tế khi tôi 5 tuổi. Tôi đi học khi toou 5 tuổi. Cha tôi nói với thầy giáo ở PTM của tôi về sở thích bóng đá của tôi. Và thầy tôi bảo ông rằng có 1 trung tâm thể thao nhỏ mở cử hàng ngày ở trường giành cho các em lớp 1 trở lên vì vậy anh có thể cho con trai mình tham gia. Giờ đây, tôi thật sự thích chơi bóng đá và tham gia vào các cuộc thi liên trường.

I to eat many different kinds of food, but my favorite one of all time is Pho. Pho is already a so famous food of Vietnam, and most people will immediately think of it when we mention about Vietnamese cuisine. It is understandable that many people fall in love with Pho, because it has featuring smell and taste that we cannot find anywhere else. To have a good pot of soup, we need to have many different kinds of spices such as anise, cinnamon, etc; and the most important thing are the bones. Those bones needed to be cooked for long hours to get the sweet and tasty stock, and then we combine other ingredients. The noodle is also special since it is not other kinds of noodle. It is made from rice flour, and it is thicker than the others. After pouring the stock into a bowl of noodle, the next step is to put on the beef slices and other toppings. I to eat rare beef slices and meat ball, and they are also the basic toppings that Vietnamese people to choose. We finish the bowl with some basil, coriander, bean sprout and black pepper. Besides, we can also other side dishes to eat with Pho egg and blood in boiling stock. All of them create a harmonious flavor that can attract even the strictest eaters. Although Pho has many versions from different parts of the country, it is always the national dish that almost all Vietnamese love to eat. I have been eating Pho for about 20 years, and I will continue to choose it as my favorite food forever.

I have many hobbies, but I reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

Tôi có khá nhiều sở thích nhưng đọc sách là một trong những việc mà tôi yêu thích nhất. Sách luôn là người bạn thân thiết đồng hành cùng tôi. Đọc sách giúp tôi nâng cao vốn từ vựng bởi nó chứa đựng rất nhiều từ mới. Khi đọc tôi nhận được sự tập trung cao độ bởi nó đòi hỏi tôi phải tập trung và những gì tôi đọc trong thơi gian dài. Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.

Last semester, I had a very good result at school, so my parents decided to give me a present that I had always dreamed of. That special gift is a laptop, and it is what I really need at the moment. It is a Vaio laptop with an elegant design. My parents bought the white one, which is also my favorite color. It is not an ideal laptop for very complicated tasks, yet it still meets all of my demands. I can easily carry it everywhere because it is a small and light one. Besides, there are also some useful spare parts that come along with it such as a removable keyboard and mouse. Whenever I need to type and edit things for a long time, I just have to plug these things in and the tasks will become much easier. vforum.vn Before getting this one, I had to borrow my sister’s laptop whenever I had work at school that related to it. Trước khi có nó, tôi phải mượn máy tính của chị tôi mỗi khi tôi có việc ở trường liên quan đến máy tính. Suốt ngày đi mượn đồ không phải là chuyện dễ, đặc biệt khi chị tôi cũng cần phải làm việc trên máy tính. Bây giờ thì tôi đã có nó cho riêng mình, và tôi có thể làm bất cứ thứ gì tôi muốn mà không cần phải xin phép. Chiếc máy tính xách tay này là món quà tuyệt vời nhất mà tôi từng có, và tôi sẽ bảo quản nó thật tốt trong một thời gian dài.
