I live in Ho Chi Minh City, and Tet holiday in the city is very bustling occasion. Within a month before the Lunar New Year, the streets are very crowded, many people go out to do shopping and enjoy the holiday scenery. My parents are busy cleaning the house, and I am busy thinking about what to wear and where to go. Right after we have a break from school, my friends and I spend most of the time on Nguyen Hue Flower Street to take pictures. However, Nguyen Hue Street is not the only beautiful place, almost everywhere in the main streets are wonderful for people to have great pictures. They are beautifully decorated with bright lights, and the apricot blossom - the symbol of New Year's Day can be found everywhere. On New Year's Eve, my family and I watch fireworks from Sai Gon Bridge; we have to go there before nine o’clock to get a good spot. Early in the first morning of the year, we go to the pagoda to pray for peace and health, and then I accompany my parents to visit my grandparents and relatives. Tet is my favorite holiday because it is an occasion to enjoy the festive atmosphere, delicious food, and receive lucky money. I wish that Tet could last for a month.

Geography
On land, most of the land area is plains covered by two main rivers, Red River and Nhue River.
Traffic
Thuong Tin has convenient transportation system with two land routes running along the district. It is 17.2 km long and 1 km of highway 1A and the highway of Phap Van - Cau Gie bridge is 17 km long. Old 73); crossing the district is the provincial road 427 (old road 71) from Van La slope (Hong Van commune) crossing the Khe Hoi crossing bridge on the Phap Van - Cau Gie highway to Thuong Tin town to cut with the North-South railway to the west of the district and ends in Thanh Oai district. Provincial highway 429 (73 old) from Phu Minh town (Phu Xuyen district) crossing Van Diem bridge to Do Xa junction intersection with the old national highway 1A; Next is the section 429 from Tia Cross intersecting the north-south railway running into Dong Quan. It is expected to build Me So bridge connecting Van Giang district of Hung Yen province.
In the district, the North-South railway runs through three stations: Thuong Tin, Cho Thi and Van Do stations.

History
Ong Nguyen is a suburb of Tran Son Nam from the Le dynasty to the Nguyen dynasty. At that time, Thuong Tin was in Ha Dong province. Phu Thuong Tin now includes districts: Thanh Tri, Thuong Phuc (now Thuong Tin), Phu Xuyen and Hong Duc (now My Duc district).
On April 21, 1965, Thuong Tin district of Ha Tay province (merging two provinces of Ha Dong and Son Tay), including 33 communes: Chuong Duong, Dai Ang, Dong My, Dung Tien, Duyen Thai, Ha Hoi, Hien Giang Hoa Binh, Hong Van, Khanh Ha, Le Loi, Lien Ninh, Lien Phuong, Minh Cuong, Nghiem Xuyen, Ngoc Hoi, Nguyen Trai, Nhi Khe, Ninh So, Quat Dong, Ta Thanh Oai, Tan Minh, Thong Nhat, Phu Phu, Tien Phong, To Hieu, Tu Nhien, Van Binh, Van Diem, Van Phu, Van Tao, Van Tu.
On December 29, 1975, Thuong Tin district of Ha Son Binh province was merged into Ha Tay and Hoa Binh provinces.
On December 29, 1978, five communes in the north of Thuong Tin District were Dai Ang, Lien Ninh, Ngoc Hoi, Ta Thanh Oai and Dong My. There are 28 communes in Chom Duong, Chuong Duong, Dung Tien, Duyen Thai, Ha Hoi, Hien Giang, Hoa Binh, Hong Van, Khanh Ha, Le Loi, Lien Phuong, Minh Cuong, Nghiem Xuyen, Nguyen Trai, Nhi Khe, .
On March 19, 1988, Thuong Tin Town was established on the basis of adjusting part of the natural area and population of Van Binh, Van Phu and Ha Hoi communes.
On August 12, 1991, Thuong Tin returned to Ha Tay province. As such, Thuong Tin district has 1 town and 28 communes, keeping stable so far.
On August 1, 2008, together with the whole province of Ha Tay, Thuong Tin district was merged into Hanoi capital according to the resolution of the Government of Vietnam.

Ha Long Bay is natural wonder in Quang Ninh. From Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay about 170 km. You can go there by bus, motobikes, cars, est. In there, you can see many islands. It's very big. And you can also see many boats. There're visited the islands. We take the photos with islands. It's convenient to buy seafood. It's so good. Go there, you should visit Tuan Chau island. It's the biggest island in Ha Long Bay. It's modern and noisy. Everybody make it noisy. But there are many buildings around the island. And there are many flowers and trees for natural lovers. It's so great! I love Ha Long Bay very much and it's very very and very beautiful natural wonder in Quang Ninh, Viet Nam and the world!

I live in a house at Sông Cầu town with my family. My house is small but it is very beautiful. It has 3 bed room, one for my parent, one for my sister and one for me. The living room is small but it is very nice and the kitchen is very convenient. My house also has a small garden with some trees and flowers that my father is planted. My house isn't large but it very beautiful, and I enjoy it very much.

I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.
If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.
Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.

Ms. Mai is my favorite neighbor. She is a teacher at an elementary school. Her figure is small, tall. Every day, she goes to school on a small motorbike. You teach class 5A and have been elected the leader. Miss Mai loves you so much! Where to go, she will buy gifts for you. Many days, she helped my mother go to the market! Every night, she did many housework until late at night. Every time there is a difficult problem, I ask her. She gave a very easy lecture to understand. My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusias and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.

The neighborhood where I live is a crowded place, and people are very also friendly. I have many interesting neighbors, but I still love to come and play at Minh's house most. Minh and I have been friends since his family moved to a house next to mine, and both families have become close friends. Minh is two – year older than me, and now he is in college while I am still a student in high school. Minh is a tall but slightly chubby guy. He usually spends most of his time learning so I rarely see him involves in sports most of the boys in the neighborhood. He has curly hair and bright eyes, and they make he seem very smart and nimble, not as slow as his appearance. He is both a neighbor and also a tutor to us, whenever we have an upcoming exam, some of my friends and I usually go to his house for him to check our homework. In return we would to get him outside and play sports at the weekend, and most of the time we just walk around because he does not know much about sports. My mother is very fond of Minh, and she is not worried when I often go out with him. My mother told me to try to learn as well as he did, and now I am spending most of my free time studying with him because I am going to have university entrance exam soon. Having a neighbor Minh is great, and I will always maintain this relationship

Đổi lại chúng tôi hay rủ anh ra ngoài chơi thể thao vào dịp cuối tuần, và hầu như chúng tôi dành phần lớn thời gian đi dạo vì anh không biết nhiều về các môn thể thao. Mẹ tôi rất quý Minh, và bà không lo lắng gì khi tôi thường xuyên ra ngoài cùng anh. Mẹ hay bảo tôi phải cố gắng để học được tốt như anh, và tôi cũng đang dành phần lớn thời gian rảnh để sang học cùng anh vì tôi sắp phải thi đại học. Có được một người hàng xóm như Minh thật tốt, và tôi sẽ luôn duy trì mối quan hệ này

She works in a fashion company so she always looks so stylish, and she also shows me some good tips for combining clothes. Chị thích trồng hoa ở trước sân nhà, và chị còn tặng tôi một chậu hoa nhỏ vào hôm sinh nhật tôi. Chị nấu ăn cũng rất ngon, và chị hay mang thức ăn qua tặng nhà tôi. Đôi khi tôi giống như một chú chim bồ câu đưa thư, vì mẹ tôi bảo tôi mang thức ăn sang biếu chị, và chị thì lại gởi thêm thức ăn cho nhà tôi. Tháng sau chị sẽ lấy chồng, và có lẽ sẽ dọn ra khỏi khu nhà này. Tôi cảm thấy rất buồn khi mất đi một người hàng xóm tốt như chị, nhưng chị hứa là sẽ thường xuyên ghé thăm tôi. Đối với tôi chị không chỉ là một người hàng xóm, mà tôi còn yêu quý chị như một người chị gái.

Everyday morning, I get up at 5:30. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I usually have breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I go to work by motorbike and be there at about 7:15 a.m. It takes me about 15 minutes from my house to get to my school. I usually start my work at 7:30 a.m. I stop at 11:45 a.m for my lunch in my school office. In the afternoon, I finish my work at 5:30 p.m, then I go home. I always spend my time on cooking dinner for my small family and we usually have dinner at 7:30 p.m. After dinner, we often watch TV and play with our son. After that, I always prepare my lessons plan and go to bed at 11:00 pm. On weekends, I usually go out with my family or friends.
