There are 10 mistakes in the following passage. Identify the mistakes and write the corrections in the corresponding numbered boxes.

Stress is often called the(the -->a) 21st century illness, but it has always been with us perhaps with different names. Those days we often consider stress is necessary evil of modern life. However, stress is not negetive and without it we will certainly not enjoy some of the highpoints in life just as the anticipation before a date or the tension leading up to an important match. All these situations produce stress, but if you can control it and not the other way round you will feel stimulated, not worn out. Like these situations, which are generally positive but easier to deal with, sitting in a train that is late, being struck in a traffic jam, working to a tight deadline is much harder to manage and control. Stress is now recognized as a nedical problem and as a significant factor in causing coronary heart disease, high blooded pressure and high cholesterol count. The fact is that patients are often willing to admit to stress problems because they feel they are a form of society failure and it is important that symptoms should be identified in order to avoid unnecessary sufferings. So why should we be looking out for as danger singals? Some common signs of stress are increased tiredness, irritability and the inability to solve certain situations.

Tớ chuẩn bị làm bài nói Tiếng Anh. Đề Bài : What is the most important characteristic in a person? Các bạn đọc và tìm giúp mình có chỗ nào sai hay không phù hợp thì chỉ mình nha! Mình cám ơn các bạn rất nhiều.

We live in a world of peace without war. The Vietnamese people have gone through painful historical pages and have spent thousands of years developing. And if Vietnam wants to develop like other countries, there must be people who are genius. I have read a newspaper about people in Japan. Japan is one of the most developed countries. Because people there are economic and life characteristics. Japanese people are always afraid of backward against the world so they always exchange knowledge even when they are on the road they also hold books to learn. They are also very good: do not squeeze in line, do not steal. Therefore, if Vietnam wants to develop, then there must be people who have characteristics like Japanese people. And in my opinion people need these traits:
1. Patriotism:
- Patriotism is one of the most important characteristics in people. Because patriotism is a driving force behind our development goals.
2. Have virtue:
- virtue is important in people because it is applied to life and economy. Being an honest person, knowing how to help others, giving in to the economy is not easy.
3. Benefit:
- Do people need to be grateful, kind. If you are honest, people around you will respect you.
4. Honestly:
- The lie is something that is being condemned in today's society. Lies in work and in life will cause others to lose faith in you. So honesty is always good quality. Because honesty will help you succeed and develop the virtues of the Vietnamese people.
5. Humble:
At work, when a project succeeds we will be excited. Success not only brings joy to us but also motivates us to work harder. But not because of that success, I am subjective, always bragging. Therefore, human beings need to have humility, always for their success must be lower than others. Typically, President Ho Chi Minh always has a humble heart that everyone admire.
6. Powerful:
- In addition to success, there is a failure in life. An Australian president said: "Failure is the opportunity to start the success again." Yes, failure helps us to grow. Not because of a failure that you give up. You must always have a strong, energetic spirit.
7. Unity:
- Finally is unity. Unity has been a tradition since the war. Thanks to that unity, the Vietnamese have expelled the enemy, unified the country. Today, that unity is also applied in economics. If the Vietnamese people are united together, they can create a new phenomenon that will bring Vietnam to the top of the world. And no one else is the Vietnamese U23 football team, which has made 90 million Vietnamese people proud of their unity and love of the country.

Read the following passage and mark the letter A, B, C, or D on your answer sheet to indicate the correct answer to each of the questions from 36 to 42.

Productivity Hacks for Great Success

No matter who we are or where we are from, we only have 24 hours each day to get things done. Some people seem to make the most of their time, using it to achieve their goals and dreams. Others feel that life is passing them by and they aren’t accomplishing anything. If you are in the latter group, it is not too late to turn things around. By implementing a few simple hacks, you can start getting better results very quickly.

If you want to become more productive, it pays to learn about the Pareto principle (which is also known as the 80-20 rule). It states that for most tasks, 80 percent of the results we get come from 20 percent of the work we do. For example. 80 percent of the company sales usually come from 20 percent of customers. Therefore, the trick is to focus your efforts on the key 20 percent of actions that truly matter to greatly improve your results.

In some cases, people may be busy from morning to night but still seem to get nothing done. In this situation, the problem might be that clear goals haven’t been set. To fix this, set some time aside to list the things you want to achieve in life. Then, select the top three or four that you want to focus on for the next year. Look at your goals every night before bedtime and ask yourself what are the next actions to accomplish each day. Then, promise yourself that you will finish these tasks no matter how busy you get. If possible try completing the tasks first thing in the morning so you are assured of success.

Another common mistake regarding productivity is not considering our energy levels. If we try to work around the clock, we will eventually get tired and quit. Everyone needs time to sleep, eat, socialize with friends, and unwind from the stress of the day. To make sure you don’t burn out, be sure to schedule some time for breaks and fun activities into your schedule every day. Finally, no matter how difficult your goals may seem, remember the old saying that “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.

What is implied in the last sentence of the passage?

A. It is best to take a big first step

B. Start moving toward your dreams little by little

C. Think twice before taking any steps.

D.  People get their best ideas when traveling

Read the following passage and mark the letter A, B, C, or D to indicate the correct word or phrase that best fits each the numbered blanks.

The ability to be independent is something that not everyone possesses. (25) _____, you need to be independent in order to survive in the world. Learning to support yourself is (26) _____ for any success you ever hope to achieve.

At the end of the day, you only have yourself to fall back on, so it is exceedingly important to be able to handle things on your own. It is all about being secure with who you are and what you believe in. It is extremely empowering knowing that you are (27) _____ control of your own life and your own choices. It is much more beneficial to listen to the voice inside yourself rather than the berating (28) of others.

We rely on others far more than it is necessary. People put their happiness in the hands of a significant other, thinking this will bring them fulfillment. This is a fatal error too many people make these days.

Do you always want to feel dependent on someone else? Of course not. Not only are you limiting yourself, you are more than likely becoming a burden to this person. We need to learn how to make decisions on our own. I understand asking your friends their opinion on a fashion decision, but do we really need to consult others on every minimal decision we have to make? Think of things (29) _____ are in your best interest and choose that option.

Điền vào số 26

A. fundament

B.fundamentalism

C. fundamental

D. fundamentals

Tạm dịch: “Think of things that are in your best interest and choose that option" (Hãy nghĩ về những điều mà bạn quan tâm nhất và chọn lựa chọn đó)
