My friend Sam’s birthday was last Saturday. He was twelve. We had a party for him, but we didn’t tell him we were going to have the party. On Saturday morning, Sam’s parents took him to breakfast at a restaurant. His cousin William has a key to his house, so we all went to the house to get ready.

First, everyone put the presents that they brought for Sam on the table in the dining room. Then, we move all the sofas and chairs in the living room so we       would have enough space to dance. We wrote “Happy birthday, Sam!” on a piece of paper and we colored it gold. We put the paper on the wall. One of Sam’s friends brought some games for everyone to play and we put them in the living room too.

Next , we needed to make a cake for Sam. The kitchen was very hot when the cooker was on, so we opened the window. The cake smelled good and we wanted  Sam to come home so we could eat it. We also made a pizza for lunch and some of Sam’s friends brought milk and juice to drink.

Soon we heard a car outside the house. We turned off the lights and hid behind the sofas and chairs. But when Sam came in, he laughed. “I know you’re here”, he said. Đối với tôi, hình ảnh của cha tôi luôn ở trong tâm trí tôi. Bố tôi đã hơn 40 tuổi. Bố là một chiến sĩ cảnh sát. Nó làm cho tôi rất tự hào và tự hào. Bố thường phải đi làm nhiệm vụ và làm nhiệm vụ. Nhưng vào một buổi sáng, một người cảnh sát đã dừng xe ngoài nhà bà Brown lúc 12 giờ. 2 người cảnh sát đã giúp ông của bà Brown ra ngoài. 1 người đã nói với bà Brown: "Người đàn ông tội nghiệp này bị lạc đường trong công viên và đã gọi chúng tôi tới giúp, vậy nên chúng tôi đã đưa ông ấy về nhà". Bà Brown rất bất ngờ, nhưng bà cảm ơn cảnh sát và họ rời đi. "Nhưng bố à"- bà ấy nói "Bố đã đi dạo công viên suốt 20 năm trời. Sao bố lại lạc vậy?". Ông ấy cười, nhắm mắt và nói: "Không phải là bố bị lạc đường. Mà là bố bị mệt và không muốn đi bộ về nhà".
