As a traditional Vietnam family, I have a big family. My family has 6 members including my mum, my dad, my grandmother, my big brother, little sister and me. My mum's name is Lan. She's got short, black hair and brown eyes. She and my dad work in business of medicine. My dad's name is Phong. He's short. He's got black short hair. My little sister's slim. She's quit beautiful. She's got black long hair. My big brother's short like my dad. 20 years before, Vietnam was a poor country. Paying for cost of living of family with 3 little children comes to be a difficult problem, My mum and my dad have worked hard day by day, even my 60-year-old grandmother also had to buy foods to help apart. You know that's a difficult time, but now we grown up and my family's financial problems were improved. Thank life for everything.

My family consists of 4 people. There are my husband, my two little son, and I. My husband is forty-three years old, and he works as an engineer. I am a doctor. my first son is a policeman, and the second one is still a student in primary school. We all have a busy lives in day. However in the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. Then my sons go to their own rooms. On weekend, and with spare time, my family often went on to play with parents, it is very meaningful and fun. We love each other very much and expect to live together under the same roof forever. I feel very happy to be alive in this family.

All of the special holidays in my country, I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...
Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

The Fisherman and His Wife
Once upon a time there was a poor old fisherman who lived with his wife in a little hut on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.
One day, the fisherman paddled his tiny boat far out into the water to try and catch some fish.
He sat in his boat all day without catching a single fish.
As he was about to turn around and head home, he felt a tug on his fishing line.
He reeled in his line and –plop- a fish dropped into his boat.
"Hey, what’s the big idea?" said the fish.
"Holy Mackerel!" the fisherman shouted in surprise, having never seen a talking fish before.
"Actually, I’m a magic trout," replied the fish.
"Would you please let me go?"
Although the fisherman was hungry and hadn’t caught anything else that day,
he took pity on the little fish flopping around next to him.
He picked the fish up by the tail, swung it around over his head, and tossed it over board.
"Thank you!" wailed the fish as it flew through the air and landed with a splash back in the water.
That night, the fisherman returned to his little hut and told his wife about what had happened.
He expected her to be happy and congratulate him for being a hero,
but when he finished the story she only looked mad.
"You caught a magic trout?" asked his wife.
"Yes." replied the fisherman.
"And you let him go, just like that?"
"It seemed like the right thing to do." he answered.
"But if that fish was magic, you could have asked it for a favor in return for letting it go," she explained.
"What could we possibly need?
We have each other and we have a roof over our heads.
Isn’t that enough?"
"Maybe that’s enough for you," she snapped,
"but I’m tired of living in this little hut on the sea cliff!
Go back and ask the fish if he can give us a nice brick cottage instead."
The fisherman didn’t like the idea of going back and asking the fish for a favor,
but he did love his wife, so the next day he paddled his tiny boat far out into the water and called out,
"Little fish! I did you a favor by letting you go, will you do a favor for me?"
The fish swam up to his boat.
"What do you need?" asked the fish.
"My wife is tired of our little hut on the sea cliff.
She wants a nice brick cottage instead." said the fisherman.
"Then when you return home, you will have a cottage." said the fish, and swam away.
And sure enough, when the fisherman got home
he saw that where his little hut once stood there was now a nice brick cottage.
The fisherman ran up and hugged his wife and they stood outside and admired it.
"Are you happy now?" he asked.
"Yes," she replied.
And she was… for a while.
But after a week, she began to think that their nice brick cottage was a bit too small.
She could do better.
"We need a castle," she told her husband.
"Go back to the fish and ask him for one."
"Why do we need it?
We have each other and we have a roof over our heads.
Isn’t that enough?"
"Maybe that’s enough for you," she snapped,
"but I’m tired of not living in a castle!
Go back to the fish and tell him to magic us one up, pronto!"
The fisherman began to worry he was asking the fish for too much,
but he did love his wife, so the next day he paddled his tiny boat far out into the water and called out,
"Little fish! I did you a favor by letting you go, will you do yet another favor for me?"
The fish swam up to his little boat.
"What do you need now?" asked the fish.
"My wife has had to endure not living in a castle for too long.
She is tired of our big house on the sea cliff. She wants a gigantic stone castle instead." said the fisherman.
"Then when you return home, you will have a gigantic stone castle." said the fish and swam away.
And sure enough, when the fisherman got home
he saw that where the nice brick cottage stood there was now a stone castle so huge it nearly touched the sky.
The fisherman ran up and hugged his wife again as they stood outside and admired it.
But before he could ask is she was happy,
they began to feel the ground grumble.
The gigantic castle was so heavy that it caused the cliff overlooking the sea to collapse,
and it fell down into the sea.
The wife fell into a deep despair.
"We have nothing now! Nothing!
I can’t go back to that after having tasted the good life."
"When will you learn that all we need is each other and a simple roof over our heads?"
the fisherman asked, picking up the scattered remains of the hut that they had once called home.
With a little hard work and determination,
the fisherman and his wife were able to set it up again, good as new.
Returning to their modest little hut at the edge of the cliff,
they lived happily for the rest of their lives.

Once a poor fanner had a daughter named Little Pea. After his wife died, the farmer married again. His new wife had a daughter. Stout Nut. Unfortunately, the new wife was very cruel to Little Pea. Little Pea had to do chores all day. This made Little Pea’s father very upset. He soon died of a broken heart.
Summer came and went. In the fall, the village held its harvest festival. That year, everyone was excited as the prince wanted to choose his wife from the village. Stout Nut’s mother made new clothes for her, but poor Little Pea had none.
However, before the festival started, a fairy appeared and magically changed Little Pea’s rags into beautiful clothes.
As Little Pea ran to the festival, she dropped one of her shoes and lost it.
When the prince found the shoe, he decided to marry the gữl who owned
it. Of course the shoe fitted Little Pea. and the prince immediately fell in love with her.

Nha Trang is a stopover for annual yacht races starting in Hong Kong. In recent years, the city has welcomed many five-star sea cruises. In addition to sail boat racing, Nha Trang provides a rich variety of tourist activities for visitors. Island hopping, scuba diving, water sports and other sporting activities can be enjoyed in the city. The Nha Trang Tourist Information Center (a non-governmental organisation), located near the Cho Dam Market has been set up to provide information for visitors
The local cuisine is most famous for fresh seafoods and barbecued pork rolled in rice paper. The area's Bird's nest soup is deemed one of the best in Vietnam. Bird’s nests are collected in the wild, on bird farms on the islands off the coast and even in some houses in the inner city. The farmed bird in question belongs to the swiftlet group, popularly referred to as y?n hàng (Aerodramus fuciphagus germani).

If people come to Hue, they will unforgettable the flavor of Bun bo Hue – a specialty of Hue. A bowl of noodles with white noodles, pieces of pig’s trotters… will make unique impression about Hue cuisine. The major ingredient to cook “bun bo Hue” is beef and pork. Beef is chosen carefully, pork would be taken from elbow down to the pig’s feet. Then take them washed, shaved pork, boiled them about half an hour. The broth is prepared by simmering beef bones and beef shank with lemongrass and then seasoned with fermented shrimp sauce and sugar for taste. Spicy chili oil is added later during the cooking process. Furthermore, it is commonly served with lime wedges, cilantro sprigs, diced green onions, raw sliced onions, chili sauce, thinly sliced banana blossom, red cabbage, mint, basil, perilla, persicaria odorata or Vietnamese coriander (rau răm), saw tooth herb (ngò gai) and sometimes mung bean sprouts.To sum up, it is one of the most famous dishes in Vietnam, you should try to eat Bun bo Hue at least one time.

I don't have much spare time as I am always over head and ears in studying at school but I still find a little time for me to relax. I especially love the weekend when I can go out with my friends for a cafe or go to the opening entertainment center to play sports such as tennis, volleyball, martial art or even swimming. I also play game online but it is not as attractive to me as playing sports outdoor. Sometimes we have small picnics to beautiful places which interest me. Studying sometimes makes me stress so that playing activity makes me feel more comfortable, and after that I can be engrossed in studying.
