Pho is one of the Vietnamese traditional food. The most delicious and typical brand of Pho in Vietnam is Ha Noi Pho with wonderful flavor. Pho is made from rice noodles, beef or chicken and other spices. Pho is a noodle soup; therefore, it’s better when being added with beansprout. Eating Pho with family not only reflects Vietnamese tradition but also creates cozy atmosphere. At weekends, my friends and I usually go to a cafeteria to enjoy Pho because Pho is served at many restaurants in Vietnam. There are two main kind of Pho: noodle soup with beef and sliced chicken, both of them are delicious and high nutrients. Pho is favorite food of almost Vietnamese and often served as breakfast. Moreover, Pho is popular in international market for its pleasant taste and reasonable price. Foreign tourists visit Vietnam and they really like the taste of Pho here. I am very proud of it. In near future, I hope Pho will be more famous in other countries so that foreigners can enjoy this cuisine and understand about Vietnamese culture.

In last year, my school organized a contest is" THE COOKING CONTEST". The members in this contest are all student in my school. A class is a team. "THE COOKING CONTEST" is started in the morning March 26th. First, we made camp. Then, we went to supermarket to buy vegetable, fish, meet, soda,chicken...After that, we cooked many food such as: chicken thighs, salad, drink,...And my class's food was the 3rd.

Around the world there are many cuisine but I still like spaghetti the most. The main ingredients to make spaghetti are noodles, beef and tomatoes. Besides, we can add onion, carrot, bean or other kind of vegetable. At weekends, my mother and I usually go to the market, buy goods and cook spaghetti for my family instead of traditional dishes. It’s easy to cook this food. All we have to do are boiling noodles, chopping beef and making a good sauce of tomatoes. There is a tip for a perfect sauce is adding a slice of lemon into it. If there is a need of vegetable, It can be served with carrot and peas. Spaghetti supplies high nutrients and several vitamins, which good for your health especially for diet people. Moreover, spaghetti is famous for its delicious taste and convenience as fast food. It’s known as typical traditional food of Italy. Although spaghetti originate from Europe, it’s more widespread in Asia specifically Vietnam. Nowadays, It is popular food not only in Italy but also in other countries.

My mother is more than 40 years old this year, although at an age not too old, her mother's skin has been the crow's feet of time. Are the white nights at the bedside of grandparents or worry for the whole family to make the mother older than her age. I love the tan skin because of the rain and wind, and the hands are rough and rough. Yet my mother is always smiling. Mother's smile, right from the day I became aware, it was the most beautiful smile in the world, more beautiful than all flowers. My mother is very cheerful and lively, she is always the one who helps everyone in the family regain their trust and regain energy after a stressful day. I used to look deeply into her mother's eyes, eyes that seemed to contain both a dreamy fairy world and the bitterness of her life. The eyes that made me think twice and also make me happy.
It can be said that when I was a child, if I didn't have a mother, I would become a shy girl who was afraid and confident about myself. Because my father often speaks so little, the person I often share is how much emotion is my mother. Whether happy or sad, uncomfortable or upset, I always told my mother, and she always listened very attentively, always advised me everything. Whenever I couldn't help but feel my feelings, sometimes I found myself not polite to my mother, I felt extremely guilty. She has just been able to take good care of everyone in her family and just do her job well in the company. After my mother recovered from illness, everyone in the family, no one told anyone, shared with me everything I could do, my sisters helped me wash the dishes, cut vegetables, my father helped my mother to wash clothes ... my mother laughed so hard and said that I was sick like that and was happy to know.
I love my mother so much, no love can change it, rather than the love for my family, she has taken a very big and important position. I know that my mother is getting more and more faded by the youth. But in my heart, my mother is always the most beautiful woman, so right now I have to live very well so my mother is always happy and proud of my children like me.

It was a Friday morning and all members of the family got up quite early to get ready for the trip. We hired a car and drove for about two hours to arrive in Hai Phong province then got on a ferry to reach the destination. In spite of feeling a little bit tired, we got really excited when the beautiful coastline and sparkling blue ocean appeared in front of our eyes. We booked a family room in a 3-star hotel, which was pretty large and luxurious. The first activity we were so eager to experience was swimming. Unfortunately, the waves were too big for us to swim but it was fun to jump over them anyway. At night time, it was great to take off our shoes and wander along the coastline. The wind carried the distinctive smell of the sea, giving us a sense of peace and relaxation. Early on the next day, I woke up at 5 o’clock to follow my mom to the local market. We also hired bicycles to get around and explore the neighborhood, as well as find a souvenir shop to buy some gifts for our friends. On the last day in Cat Ba, my family took part in a small trip around Lan Ha bay by boat to immerse ourselves in the spectacular natural beauty here. The most interesting experience we had on the holiday was enjoying dinner on a boat. Eating fresh food on the sea when the sun came down really went beyond my expectations. After three days, we returned home but could not forget the great time we spent there. It was definitely one of the best memories of mine and my family members’.

Nha Trang, the capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so tempting. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a stunning landscapes. On my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach – a chance to breath in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands. Hon Tre is the largest of the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts’ nests.
Nha Trang is one of the greatest holiday destination. I hope to have chance to come back

Tet, also known as the Lunar new year festival, is the biggest traditional festival in Viet Nam. Tet is usually from the end of January to early February. Before Tet, the Vietnamese prepare many things for the three main days. They clean their house and decorate with flowers such as a kumquat tree or peach blossom. A huge amount of food will be bought before Tet for making traditional dishes. Banh Chung, Banh Tet, Gio cha, Xoi and Mut, …and candies are the foods that must be eaten on Tet holidays. During Tet, people visit their relatives’ homes and give wishes.
However, the Vietnamese believe that the first visitor a family receives in the year determines their fortune for the entire year, people never enter any house on the first day without being invited first. Another custom is giving lucky money, which is put into a red envelope as a symbol of luck and wish for a new age. Traditionally, elders will give lucky money to children and the oldest people in the family. However, nowadays, people can give it to anyone including friends, parents, neighbors,… Besides, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for health, wealth, success,… To Vietnamese, Tet is the happiest time of all year round, members in a family can gather together, which is a meaningful message of the Lunar New year festival. All in all, Tet is all about going back to origins, being good to others, enjoying the precious moment, and wishing for the best to come.

One day, I want to travel to Korea because I have always been a fan of Korea’s culture.
Korea is located in Asia. This country is famous for many things like K-Pop, amazing food, peach blossoms, movies,… If I am in Korea, I want to go hiking on Mt Seoraksan – a mesmerizing famous mountain. The next place I want to visit is Jeju Island to see the beautiful beaches and giant lava tubes. It would be awesome if I could see my K-Pop idols in real life or at least go see their companies. Jagalchi Market in Busan is very beautiful, I hope to go there and try good seafood. Like other tourists, I also want to try on their traditional costume – Hanbok, and take lots of pictures. Korea is a great destination and I wish to travel there in the future.

Even though I am not very interested in watching TV, I always turn it on for one program. It is “Bong Bóng và 7 câu hỏi địa lý” (Bubble Boy and 7 questions about Geography) – a popular program for the 11-15-year-old students which makes education fun. It is on VTV7 at 9:30, 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday. I always watch it when I can. This program is about the journey of Bubble Boy on his balloon to explore the beauty of different geographic regions from above. Besides discovering, he will work with students to find and memorize the geographical knowledge such as land, weather, climate, natural areas. I love the program because I can see many beautiful places with their interesting stories through cute animation. I wish they can continue this great program for longer and longer.

When it comes to enjoyment, what I find the most interesting is to go traveling to different places and try the local cuisine there. In my journeys, I was strikingly impressed by many kinds of food, one of which is crispy pancake - also known as Banh Xeo. The ingredients to make flour mixture include rice flour, coconut cream, turmeric, onions and salt, mixed with water. The batter is then added into a frying pan brushed with vegetable oil and forms a thin pancake. After about two minutes, the cooker will scatter some pork, shrimps and sprouts on half of the cake then fold it in half to cover the filling and cook for thirty seconds. The dish is often served with traditional sauce made from fish sauce mixed with lemon, garlic and chilli. An interesting feature about Banh Xeo is the way people eat them. The pancake will be cut into two to three pieces and rolled in sheets of rice paper together with some lettuces. The roll is dipped into the prepared sauce, which creates a stunning combination of flavor. In one bite, customers can feel the crispness, a little bit sweetness, fat and freshness of the vegetables and just want to eat more. To sum up, coming to Vietnam, if you want to explore the culinary culture here, Banh Xeo will be an amazing experience that should not be missed
