Sông Amazon bắt đầu từ núi Andes ở Peru. Nó di chuyển khoảng 6,000 km đến Đại Tây Dương. Nó là con sông lớn nhất trên thế giới. Nó cũng dài thứ hai. Phần lớn nước của Amazon đến từ mưa. Trong mùa mưa, các phần của sông rộng 190 km.
Sông Amazon đi qua khu rừng mưa lớn nhất thế giới. Rừng mưa Amazon là nơi có số lượng loài động thực vật cao nhất trên Trái Đất. Có khoảng 2,5 triệu loại côn trùng, chẳng hạn như loài kiến lớn nhất thế giới. Có ít nhất 3,000 loại cá sống ở đó, và 1/5 tổng số loài chim trên thế giới.
Một số loài động vật ở Amazon rất nguy hiểm, chẳng hạn như anaconda, loài rắn lớn nhất trên thế giới.
Amazon rất quan trọng đối với Trái Đất. Nếu chúng ra mất Amazon, chúng ta sẽ mất một phần lớn sự sống trên Trái Đất.

Yes, I think Amazon is important to us because The Amazon rain forest is home to the highest number of plant and animal species on Earth. There are around 2.5 millions kind of insects, such as the world's largest ant, At least, 3,000 kinds of fish live there, and one-fifth of all the bird species in the world. If we lose the Amazon, we will lose a big part of life on Earth.

Windsor, the old horse, is very sad. His owner is going to sell him. "Can't we keep him?" asks his (1).........OWNER'S.............. wife. "He is a good horse". I am going to take him to the market tomorrow". The next day, at the market, there is another horse for (5)..........SALE.......... It is a beautiful, young, brown horse. Windsor thinks sadly: "I am not as young as that brown horse. And I am not as big as him. I am too thin and I am too tired to do heavy work. (6)...........WHO........... is going to bye me?". Just then a farmer and his young son arrive. "We are looking (7).......FOR................ a good horse", they say. "Windsor is a god horse", says the owner. "But it isn't he too old?"
