1.Describe a place of interest in your hometown
=> I live in New York with my parents. There are a good number of interesting places to see and visit here. But the New York Public Library is more interesting to me than any other places.
I am a citizen of the USA by birth but my parents are not. They came here in search of living from Larissa in Greece during the 1980s. They have been living for around 36 years in this city. After my birth and I got matured enough, they took me to different interesting places to visit in the New York City, and these places are really interesting. But being an introvert, I disliked the crowds and the public library appeared to be more interesting to me than other places. The place is filled with books on numerous issues, magazines, documents and many other things. The classics available in the library were my favourite.
Going to the library is easier for me. In fact, this is not far away from my residence. The New York Public Library is only a 10-minute walk from my home. It remains open from 10 am to 8 pm, except the weekends. Usually, I go there in the evening and read books or novels until the library is closed. Besides, the library is accessible from the other parts of the city. The people who want to visit the library can reach here using several transportation modes. They can reach the library by taxi, metro or by their private cars. But the people who live nearby, like me, come here mostly on foot.
The New York Public Library is a great place to read. But the people who come here are not readers always. Some of them are researchers, while some others may be historians or musicians. Actually, the library is visited by a wide range of people. Basically, the library comes with the reading facilities. But there is also the scope to check the reference books, peep on the music directory or crosscheck any history. Besides, the reading rooms are well expanded and the readers have ample opportunities to use the books and references after their needs. But they have to be careful with the books. Silence among the readers while reading books is expected there.
Reading books may appear boring to many but it is very interesting to me. I love reading books. The books help us to know the unknown and unseen. The experiences of past thousand years have been preserved in books in words. So, when I read them, it appears that I am travelling through time! But every place is not suitable for reading and it requires a very special environment. Hence, I think a library is a nice place to read. At the same time, it is an interesting place as an enriched collection of books are available together. In fact, it is impossible for an individual to collect a part of the books of this library in his entire life. So, I find more interest in reading books in a calm place and the New York Public Library is a place I would recommend to a tourist.

Topic 2 : A couple of months ago I went to the Greek island of Crete. We stayed in a town called Xania, which is on the coast in the north west of Crete. It is a really picturesque town with small cobbled streets, a large harbour and many ancient buildings. I went there with my husband Brendan for a one-week holiday. We got there by various means of transport, taking a train to the airport, then a four-hour flight, followed by a twenty-minute taxi ride from the airport to where we were staying. The whole journey took around eight hours from door to door, which was a bit longer than we expected it to take, although we didn't have any major delays, thank goodness. I enjoyed my stay there very much, as I had not had a holiday for ages and needed to switch off from working. We didn't do much sightseeing, although Xania itself has a long and fascinating history so went to the local museum in order to learn more about it. I spent a lot of time reading books and swimming in the sea, which I must admit was quite a lot colder than I thought it would be. I also enjoyed eating the delicious Cretan food, and walking around the ancient streets in the town. One of the things I enjoyed the most was going to a restaurant called Xalkina, where they had live Cretan music every night. The musicians were playing instruments that I had never seen before, and I loved the style and tempo of the music they played. I would definitely like to go back to Crete one day, though next time I would probably make more effort to see the amazing sights of the rest of Crete.

My best friend's name is Huy. I can say he is my closest friend since we were children. We are living in a same town. Huy is quite good-looking. He is tall and thin. He has a round face, black eyes and short black hair. He is kind and friendly to people. I like him because he studies very well. His favourite subjects are Math and English. He often helps me with difficult Math or English homework. We often play soccer or play video games in our free time. I wish we could be friend forever.

I think it is desirable for secondary school students to wear casual clothes when they are at school.
Firstly, casual clothes make all students feel comfortable. They don't feel constrainted to wear uniform that they don not like.
Secondly, for one thing, casual clothes can also give students freedom of choice. They can choose what sizes, colors, and fashions of clothing they love. And for the other, parents do not worry about their clothes because their children can wear any clothing to school as long as it is clean and tidy. It can be said it is the positive aspect for the poor people in the present difficult economic condition.
Finally, casual clothes can make students feel self-confident when they are in their favorite clothes. And what's more it makes the school more colorful and lively.
In conclusion, in my opinion, all the secondary school students should wear casual clothes.

2My hometown is where I always want to be. Because there are relatives, friends, and so many memories of childhood. The golden fields, the clear rivers are the things I want to see first when I return. Previously, I used to live in the country for a while. And the most special memory to me was the fish pond. When I went back to school, I went out to fishing. Coming to summer, I will definitely tell my parents for a trip back home

Surely each of us has different relationships. Besides each family relationship, social relationships are also very important. Social relations include physical and mental relationships, it makes our life better. It helps us relieve the pressure after stressful lessons, we can share it with our friends, or share it on social media where someone will listen and understand us. If we have something difficult to say to our loved ones in our hearts, we need outsiders to confide in them. Social relationships are also important factors that help us succeed. The people who help us succeed outside of our parents will be social people. But besides, social relationships also bring us a lot of pressures, things that make us despair, to make us die, which is the negative of society. There is an electronic device that is very familiar and appears in every house. It is hard to find a place without its presence, and it is the TV. After inventors successfully simulated it in the 1920 s, television had become one of the must - have items of every family. Television is an excellent entertaining device, and it is not easy to be replaced by any other things. When we talk about entertaining forms, there are not many things that are as interesting as a TV. Nowadays, there are thousand TV stations all over the world that provide countless channels with competitive contents. When we sit in front of a TV with a remote in our hands, we can easily access to the world through many different lens. The news becomes so lively, the celebrities becomes so close, and the information becomes so easy to be remembered. TV can not only entertain ourselves, but it can also cheer up a whole family or a team. How great is it when we can sit together to watch our favorite TV shows after a long day outside, and we can even talk about them for the next few days. Maybe we do not realize, but TV actually has some positive impacts on us. Unlike the Internet with a huge number of contents which are not censored and confirmed, most of the things that displayed on TV are already checked. We do not have to worry much about absorbing wrong sources of information or harmful content when watching TV, and all we need to do is choosing the property programs which suits our age and hobby. TV plays a big role in our daily life, and the world would be a very boring place without it.
