I play a lot of different sports such as soccer, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, … but my favorite sport is soccer. This is a popular sport but still attracts players. I played soccer from a very young age. When I was a boy, I used to play soccer with my friends on the sand court near my home with our own goal. Now I often play soccer on artificial turf fields. To play soccer you need to have good physical strength. To play this sport you need two teams. We will try to get the ball into the opponent’s goal. Which team scores more than that team wins. We usually play soccer every Thursday. I play as a striker. Playing soccer helps me feel better mentally. Although we were very tired, we were all very happy. I dreamed of becoming a player for the national team. If you are a guy and you have never played soccer before, it is a pity. Let’s try this useful sport to experience what it has to offer!

Tôi chơi rất nhiều môn thể thao khác nhau như: bóng đá, bóng chuyền, cầu lông, bóng bàn,… nhưng môn thể thao mà tôi yêu thích nhất đó là bóng đá. Đây là môn thể thao phổ biến nhưng vẫn luôn thu hút người chơi. Tôi chơi bóng đá từ rất nhỏ. Khi tôi còn là một cậu bé, tôi thường cùng bạn bè của mình chơi đá bóng tại sân cát gần nhà với khung thành do chúng tôi tự tạo. Bây giờ tôi thường chơi bóng đá tại các sân cỏ nhân tạo. Để chơi được bóng đá bạn cần có một thể lực tốt. Để chơi môn thể thao này các bạn cần hai đội chơi. Chúng ta sẽ cố gắng để dẫn bóng vào khung thành của đối thủ. Đội nào ghi bàn nhiều hơn thì đội đó sẽ chiến thắng. Chúng tôi thường chơi bóng đá vào thứ năm hàng tuần. Tôi chơi ở vị trí tiền đạo. Chơi bóng đá giúp tôi cảm thấy tinh thần thoải mái hơn. Mặc dù rất mệt nhưng chúng tôi đều rất vui. Tôi từng mơ ước mình sẽ trở thành một cầu thủ của đội tuyển quốc gia. Nếu bạn là một chàng trai và bạn chưa chơi bóng đá bao giờ thì thật là đáng tiếc. My school's name is Ly Tu Trong Secondary School. It is not far from our house. I go to my school every day on foot. Our Principal's name is Principal Nguyen Thi Dung. Our class-teacher is Miss Thai . There is a small playground in our school-compound. During the tiffin hour, we play there. We play volley-ball and badminton. There are two swings on the side, We swing there merrily. We have a good library on the ground floor of the school-building. Our librarian is Miss Trang. She helps us in selecting good books. We take books on loan to read. The students of our school are gentle and disciplined. There is not much noise in our school. Our Principal is very strict. But she is also kind to all. I am happy as a student of my school. I love my school, my classmates, and my teachers. My school is my second home.

The subject I like best in school is geography and the subject I hate is arithmetic. Even from my younger day, I have been longing to know more about other countries and the people who live there.
Geography teaches me not only about my own country but also the neighouring countries and the world in general. From what I have studied, I have a longing to see London, Paris, New-York and Tokyo. I have heard much about Mount Fujiyama, the snow-capped mountain of Japan. I also want to see Japan during the cherryblossom season. I want to see New-York and its sky-scrapers.
Geography interests me because without visiting these places I learn about them in books. For pupils like me who are poor and cannot afford to visit these places, the knowledge of geography is all the most useful. It is perhaps the second best means of knowing more about other countries.
