I was born and live in Ha Noi. Ha Noi is a historic city which is the capital of Vietnam. It has many beautiful streets with a lot of trees. I'd to tell you some good things and some bad things about my neighbourhood.
Firstly, I love Ha Noi's beautiful scenery. I fancy walking on the lovely street which covered with dead leaves in the autumn. Reading books by the Sword Lake is one of my favourite activities. Secondly, food in Ha Noi is really good. It is famous for "Pho" and "bun cha". But I'm fascinated by "banh cuon" after all. Finally, Ha Noi has almost everything I need. You can see convenient stores, large malls,... on the street easily. Sometimes, I feel Ha Noi is a paradise. It has everything.
Beside many good things, there're always bad things at all. I detest the traffic jam in Ha Noi. It takes me about 2 hours to get home in the rush hour. It's so annoying. Not only that, but the streets are also noisy because of the sound of vehicles. Sometimes, it's driving me crazy.
That's my Ha Noi! How about your neighbourhood?

Writing a holiday postcard
One of the last things you hear from your friends or neighbours as you go away on holiday is "Send us a postcard!"
It's one of those great holiday traditions, almost as "British" as a bucket and a spade on a beach. We send postcards (often on the last day of the holiday) to tell our friends what a great time we're having.
Holiday postcards have three main characteriss. They're short, positive (even if it's raining) and predictable in their content.
Here's a quick guide to writing a postcard. Choose any one of the adjectives to complete your sentences.

I moved to this neighborhood about two years ago. There are a few things I about my neighborhood. This is a nice and quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are very nice and rarely making noises. I feel very safe in my neighborhood because we have a lot of medium to large dogs. The dogs can keep the burglars away. The neighborhood is always very clean because we each take care of it. However, there are a few things I don’t about my neighborhood. One of them is the lack of communication between the neighbors. Each house seems to seclude themselves in their own house. They don’t hang out together or have a block party. Another thing I disk about my neighborhood is the lack of a sidewalk. Only a few houses in our neighborhood have a sidewalk. So, when I want to give my dog a walk, sometimes, I have to walk in the street. Despite those negative aspects of my neighborhood, I still to live here.

I had a holiday in Nha Trang with my family last year. It was very funny. Today I’ll tell you about my holiday.
Well, Nha Trang is a major city of Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam. This beautiful city is a popular destination for tourists because of its wonderful beaches with turquoise water. On our five days there, we enjoyed eating seafood, sightseeing some famous places and walking along the beach at night. All the sights are so magnificent (tráng lệ). The weather was perfect, too. It was sunny and windy during the time we were there. Local people are also very hospitable. The trip has made a good impression on all members in my family. Next year, if we have time, we will come back this great city. Where did you go on this summer vacation? Write to me and tell me about your vacation destination.
