I love a lot of subjects, but there is the only one subject I the most. It's absolutely English. English helps me a lot. For example, when I go to another countries, I can talk with the foreigns by English, I don't have to worry anything 'bout my language anymore. So, I always spend 2 hours to prace and study this subject at home every evening. And I can learn English at school three time a week, too. The special thing of this subject is there are thousands or may be millions of difficult words I've ever seen before. It makes me feel interesting about English. It's really really great if you know all of the English word, right? But it's also very difficult to perform, so to improve your English vocabulary, there's only one way, patient and keep prace memorize the words. Not lucky, it's the best way! However, I always love this subject because it also helps me to improve my personality - patient!!!

My best friend is Lan. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.
If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.
What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

In these days, many people tend to move into the city. There are some argument and acceptance about the benefits and drawbacks of living in the city. In my opinion, it has both advantages and disadvantages.
It's true that cities have a lot of opportunities for people who are looking for jobs with high salary. Because big companies or international enterprises usually locate in big cities and they are always looking for employees. Especially, many people accept low- paying jobs street vendors or construction workers to earn a living in urban life. It's easy to understand why people want to live in the city in the hope of having a better life. Life in the city has its own convenience. For example, there are shops, supermarkets, and restaurants everywhere to satisfy everyone's demand whenever they need. City also offers many recreational facilities to please you in your free time such as theaters, cinemas, etc. Moreover, living condition in the city is really comfortable with modern equipment the Internet, television, telephone, etc.
However, life in the city also has lots of disadvantages. The biggest issue in the city is traffic. Streets and roads in the cities are always packed with vehicles and people. Another problem is the atmosphere. The air in the city is contaminated because of the commission from factories and transport. This leads to environmental pollution and in some cases seriously affects people’s health.
Nevertheless, I still want to live in the city because nowadays there are so many facilities I can't refuse. And because I feel relaxed and comfortable staying in my own city.

Living in the countryside has a lot of advantages, but also many disadvantages. As the advantage we can consider the fact that the country is less polluted and the traffic isn't so heavy. You are fit and you don't need to worry about your health condition, because in the countryside the air and water are so clean. In the country there are many plant species. There aren't any huge blocks of flats, modern skyscrapers or bothersome traffic jams. In the country you are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. You can enjoy walking in the forest and picking mushrooms or hunting. Another advantage is that you may easily build a big house and the garden, because charges for ground are much lower than in the suburbs. Moreover, living in the countryside is cheaper than it is in the city, so you probably may afford many other things, because the prices are lower. What is more, you can invite your friends to the barbecue organized in your garden. It would be great! The other positive side is the safety. In the rural area the crime rate is much lower. There aren't a lot of housebreaks and the possibility of burglary is also lower. In the countryside people usually and keep eyes on neighbour's estates. They always react when something strange is happening. Country life is very peaceful and silent. You will enjoy the feeling of peace.
However, there are a lot of positive aspects of living in the country side, there are also some disadvantages. Living in the country is slower. People don't need to hurry and have a lot of time. People in the country don't have to work so many hours as they do in the city. On the other hand, they don't earn so much money. Moreover, there aren't such interesting things to do during free time. The unemployment rate is also much higher than in the city. The problem may be also the communication. If you don't have your own car, you may have problem how to commute to work. The same problem concerns the access to the hospitals, schools, police stations and shops, which are usually located far from the village. Last of all, there are some dangers connected with country life such as heavy snowfall or rainfall.
To sum up, I think that living in the country may have a lot of advantages such as fresh air, breathtaking landscapes and comfort, but a lot of people decide to stay in the city, due to the fact that the life in the town is easier. The easy access to shops and other institutions are the great advantage.
