Of all the subjects taught in school, I Geography best. It is the only subject which teaches me everything I need to know about the world we live in, for example, vegetation, way of life of people, climate, agriculture and economy.
I learn about the countries around Malaysia and in other parts of the world and, since I cannot visit and see for myself every country in the world, I get at least a good picture of these countries by studying Geography. I am very interested in finding out more about other countries especially those that experience snow when winter comes. I often wonder about the life of the people in these countries. What would it be to be dressed in thick clothes and boots and living in snow-covered houses amidst fir trees? Then, there are the hot desert lands that stretch for miles and miles without a tree in sight. They, too, fascinate me. I marvel at the inhabitants who are able to tolerate the intense heat of the burning sun, traveling along miles of barren, hot land on camels where the only vegetation found would be the few palm trees growing at an oasis. The wide range of food which we enjoy daily such as butter, cheese, fruits, bread that comes from wheat and many others lead me on to find out how they are processed and imported into Malaysia and finally make their appearance in our homes.
As I study more in Geography, I understand better the changes in weather conditions, for example, why there are hot and dry seasons or cool rainy days during the monsoon season and how deserts are caused.

a paradise, my room is the only place where I feel free, warm and comfotable for relaxing after a tiring day at school. My room has a special design with the dominant color is blue - makes you feel cozy. It is a splendid bedroom because it was decorated by myself. My room looks warm and airy with a huge window which has a great view of the garden. There are some lovely picture on the wall, too. There are a laptop and a desktop on my table that serve for my studies at school and at home, too. My bed is placed in the corner of the room. There are also some boxed which contain some old things and many stamps.

There are four people in my family : my parents , my brother and I . My father is forty-four years old. He is a worker in Truong Hai company. He is a jovial man who always tell many funny stories to make us smile. My father s gardening very much as well as watching Tv programs. Un most men , my father s cooking and he cooks very well. Among my favourite sports and hobbies, I swimming the best for several reasons. Firstly, I think playing in the water could bring great joy. It also helps reduce stress and I always feel refreshed and relaxed after swimming for about half an hour. Secondly, swimming is an excellent way to keep myself fit and healthy. It helps build up my muscle strength and prevent many heart and lung diseases. Finally, besides being a great sport, swimming is also an important survival skill, because without knowing how to swim well, it could be dangerous if there is a flood, or simply if we want to play near bodies of water. Many of such accidents have occured to teenagers lately. In conclusion, swimming will always be my preferred hobby because it is not only healthy and fun but also a life-saving skill.
