MOTHER’S TEARS – GIỌT NƯỚC MẮT CỦA MẸ

“Why are you crying?” a little boy asked his Mother.

“Tại sao mẹ khóc?” một cậu bé hỏi mẹ mình.

“Because I’m a Mother,” she told him.

“Bởi vì mẹ là một người mẹ”, cô nói với con.

“I don’t understand” he said.

“Con không hiểu” cậu bé nói.

His mom just hugged him tightly and said, “You never will!”

Later the boy asked his father why Mother seemed to cry for no reason.

“All mothers cry for no reason” was all his Dad could say.

“Tất cả các bà mẹ đều khóc không có lý do”, đó là tất cả những gì người cha có thể nói.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why mothers cry. So he finally put in a call to God.

When he got God on the phone the man asked, “God, why do mothers cry so easily?”

God said, “You see, when I made mothers, they had to be special. I made their shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave them an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times come from their children.”

“I gave them a hardiness that allows them to keep going when everyone else gives up, and to take care of their families through sickness and fatigue without complaining.”

“I gave them the sensitivity to love their children under all circumstances, even when their child has hurt them very badly. This same sensitivity helps them to make a child’s boo-boo feel better, and helps them share a teenager’s anxieties and fears.”

“I gave them a tear to shed. It’s theirs exclusively to use whenever it’s needed. It’s their only weakness. It’s a tear for mankind”.

This is Edward Horsley. He's called Ted, for short. He's a pleasant young man. He's good looking and he has got many friends of his own age (he is 22). He's got a job in the office of a large factory, not far from his house, where he works five days a week, Monday to Friday, nine o'clock to give thirty. He lives with his parent, and gives his mother some money every week for food and accommodation
He has got no brothers or sisters, and he is happy to live at home. He has one luxury- a small secondhand car. At weekends he spends sometime repairing, cleaning and improving it. Worry or problem? No, not really. He's got very few responsibilities, and his salary is good for a man of 22.There is just one thought. He like his job, but he's not sure he would like to do the same job for the next 40 years.

Is Ted leading a happy life? Why?

First:
A hobby that I enjoy is using the computer. Surfing the internet is what I mostly do whenever I have free time.

No one can deny the benefits of Internet. Information resources are probably the biggest advantage that Internet offers to people. Internet is wonderful source of information. All kind of information on any topic is available on the Internet at anytime. I love searching things on Google. It’s a very useful tool from the Internet, we can know everything with just one mouse click.

Becoming knowledgeable is also a great benefit of using Internet. I spend a lot of time on the Internet for reading news. All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.

In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.

Second:
Imagine you are high in the air, the water is spraying your face, the wind is blowing your hair, and you are riding a six-footer. Then… crash, you are down! It’s the joy of surfing, one of the world’s most adrenaline-based sports.

For me, surfing is a release for all stress. It takes my mind off things. Sure it is hard, but once you are on that long board, you are on for the ride. I fell in love with surfing the moment I got on that board, which was hard to do. The first time I tried to surf I couldn’t even sit on the board like all the other surfers were doing while they waited for a wave. I thought once I got on, the rest would be easy, but boy, I was wrong.

A four-foot wave came my way and before I knew it I was pinned to the sand on myboard. How was I ever supposed to do this? I became frustrated and told myself I would not leave the beach until I was riding a wave! Hours later I rode one in. I was actually on the wave, while I was on the board! Unfortunately, my board ran into another surfer’s board, but he happened to be really cute!

I’m still practising. Living in Massachusetts makes it hard to surf all year round, but I have my wet suit, so I’m ready for Massachusetts waves! Just remember, if you want to learn how to surf, be patient – and watch where you are going.

There was a big map of the world on the wall and an old blackboard. I don't think I was worried or at that time. There was another little boy next to me. He sat there and kept silent at first. Then he began to cry, because he didn't want to stay there.

More and more students came in, but the boy didn't stop crying. '' Mom, I want to go home''. He cried again and again. Later, the teacher came in. She went to the littel boy, and said something to him. I couldn't hear what she said. Soon the boy stopped crying and began to smile. To this day, I still don't know what the teacher said to the little boy.
