Ex: A: I don’t want to go to school today. It’s Sunday
(A: Tôi không muốn phải đến trường ngày hôm nay. Chủ nhật mà)
B: Neither do I
(B: Tôi cũng vậy)

A: I have never loved anyone before I met you, honey!
(A: Anh chưa từng yêu ai trước khi gặp em cả, em yêu à!)
B: Neither have I

Ex: A: You think the red dress or the white dress is suit me?
(A: Bạn nghĩ cái đầm màu đỏ hay màu trắng thì hợp với tôi?)
B: Neither (=neither dress)
(B: Không cái nào cả)

Ex: A: I am not jealous with his success
B: I am not too
==> B: I am not either
(B: Tôi cũng không)

A: I haven’t eaten a good dish like this this one before
(A: Tôi chưa từng ăn món nào ngon như món này trước đây)
B: I haven’t either
(B: Tôi cũng vậy)

A: I didn’t tell her our secret
(A: Tôi không nói với cô ta về bí mật của hai chúng ta)
B: I did not either. How did she know that?
(B: Tôi cũng không nói. Làm sao mà cô ta biết được cơ chứ?)

IV. Tổng kết
Tóm tắt lại thì
1. Both: Cả hai thứ ==> “Both…and….”
2. Neither: Không thứ nào cả ==> “Neither…nor…”
3. Either: Một trong hai thứ ==> “Either…or…”

I just heard you found the one you've been looking
You've been looking for
I wish I would have known that wasn't me
Cause even after all this time I still wonder
Why I can't move on
Just the way you did so easily

Don't wanna know
What kind of dress you're wearing tonight
If he's holding onto you so tight
