I love sudying English so I want to visit Australia - an English speaking country.
Australia is a country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. It is the world's sixth-largest country by total area. Although Australia has no official language, English has always been entrenched as the national language.

3/ What is the pollution?
4/ How can industry help?
5/ What cause pollution?
6/ What about air pollution?
A. _3__ Pollution is the poisoning of the land, sea and air.
B. __5_ Mainly industry and transport. If you go to any city, you will see too many
factories, too many cars with not enough people in them, and not enough public transport.
C. __1_ Factories and vehicles produce waste which goes into the air and rivers and
spreads all over the land. Poisons in the waste build up over the years and harm trees,
plants, animals, and people.
D. _6__ Waste gases build up in the air, and dissolve into raindrops, forming a weak
acid. This "acid rain" can fall far away from the country which produced it, killing trees in
forests and fish in lakes and rivers.
E. _4__ If companies clean their waste gases before releasing them into the
atmosphere, there'll be much less air pollution and no acid rain. But this can be expensive
and it needs all the world's companies to do it.
F. _2__ Cars pollute the atmosphere. Walk, cycle and use public transport as much as
possible. Only use your car when you really need to, and use unleaded petrol if you can -
lead is one of the most dangerous ingredients in petrol. Join us, and help us to campaign for
cleaner air for everybody.
My village now is different from my village in my father's stories. In his stories , my village was very poor. Everyone lived a hard life at that time. They lacked of food , of money ,.....Now , it changes so much. Firstly , people don't live a hard life anymore. They have modern appliances like TV , air conditioner , ceiling fan ,... Many of them now have cell phones , motorbikes and even cars. The second change is the people. There are more people and more houses here. The houses are modern in brick instead of eathen houses. Besides , the Internet is very popular . They use it for learning , making new friends and playing games. They really feel pleased about the changes

Australia is the smallest of the six continents and the only one having ‘one country’ in it. It remained cut off from the rest of the world after its geologic separation from Gondwanaland and its great distance from Europe, Americas and Asia. As a result very strange flora and fauna developed on this continent. It mostly consists of a flat, featureless land with no great rivers and no permanent snow covered mountains. The central lowlands are known for their underground water in their artesian basins. The Great Barrier Reef made up of coral rocks is a great tourist attraction.
Seasons in Australia are reverse of India because of the former’s location in Southern Hemisphere. It is mostly hot and dry as only 4% of the land is under cultivation. Wheat is grown extensively on the temperate grasslands in the Murray-Darling basin. Eucalyptus is the most common tree; nearly 700 varieties are found. The people have managed their limited land and water resources well.
Although the average density of the population is very low, most people live in the large cities and ports of the rainy eastern and south-eastern regions. Although the population is not much, Australia produces enough agricultural and industrial goods to meet its needs and still has plenty for export to other countries of the world.
