Once there is a boy lived -> who lived with his mother. They were very poor and had only a bit of land to make a living by growing grain. One day, the mother went to the market as usual. "Here Auntie, use my stick to heat your stove"- he said. When the stove was OK and hot perfectly, she baked him a soft, round roti, a traditional Indian cake.
The boy was looking for a shade -> shaded place to ẹnjoy the roti when he heard a baby crying. The baby was hungry but her mother had no food. The young man needed it more than he did! The musicians leaped up and sang. A singer stopped to thank the boy for his kindness. In exchange, he deserved a beautiful drum.
The boy shouted with joy. He tapped the drum the whole way home. His mother came out to see what the noise was. The boy told her about the story of the stick, a roti, a jug, a horse and a drum.
