All latest news is continuously up-to-date on the Internet on various news sites. I often visit E-newspaper websites to read hot daily news. I can know everything such as current issues that happen in this world, what happen to our country, celebrities life, recent fashion, and other news that can enhance my knowledge. I would rather using Internet for updating news because it is available everywhere at anytime.
In conclusion, people increasingly spend their leisure time using Internet because it is a helpful tool where people can learn new things and keep informed of information around the world. Internet turns the world into the speed generation. As the Internet saves us much time, we can have enough time to do other things. The internet is a marvelous creation in this generation.
I have many hobbies, such as, playing basketball, watching TV and swimming. However, my favourite one is reading manga, a kind of Japanese picturebooks. Whenever I have spare time, I would lie on my bed and enjoy thrilling and interesting adventures described through beautiful pictures. Moreover, reading these books makes me feel comfortable and relaxed after a hard-working day in my university. Cooking is my favorite hobby. My grandmother taught me how to cook my first dish when I was 8. My family enjoyed it so much so that is when I started this hobby. Some people say cooking is a waste of time but I find this hobby very interesting and meaningful. I really love trying new food and cooking for my family. The feeling of making my family happy with my food is amazing. I often collect recipes from my mother and my grandmother. Sometimes I also get recipes from the internet. Then I write them in a notebook. I hope I will become a good chef and have my own cookery book in the future.

I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. I can eat it everyday without boring.

FRIED RICE
We will prepare: 1-2 green onions, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of pepper, 4 tablespoons of oil, 4 cups of cold cooked rice, 1-2 tablespoons of light soy sauce.
Firstly, we beat the eggs with salt, pepper, onion. Then we heat the pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, pour the the mixture into the pan. When it is hot, take it out and clean out the pan. Next, we add 2 tablespoons oil, add the rice, stir-fry for a few minutes, using chopsticks to break it apart, stir in the soy sauce. When the rice is heated through, we add the mixture back into the pan. Remember to serve hot.
While I am still in my beautiful years of youth, I choose to live a useful life instead of a lazy one. Many young people just want to go home and watch TV, or they love to spend their free time to sleep without doing anything else. For me, I decided to become a volunteer in order to help other people with my ability. Last summer, my school volunteer group visited a nursing home for the elderly artists. When we came, those seniors were very happy because they might see us as their grandchildren. After greeting them, we started to clean up the inner house and the yard. We brought out the old broken stuffs then painted the wall in a brighter color. Another group made sure the yard was free of trash and pile of unnecessary things. We also planted a tree in the corner of the yard so people in the nursing home could have some shade on the sunny day. There were about a hundred of us, so we finished all of our tasks in just one day. In the evening, some of the old ladies cooked some delicious dishes for us, and we had a small party before we headed home. We give them the presents that we had prepared in advance, and we even performed some of our silly dancing and singing skills. They also prepared a small play for us, and we felt that their passion for art was never faded. We had great time together, and the nursing had a better appearance thanks to all of our efforts. When we packed our stuffs to go home, the attachment of those seniors even made some of us cry. We promised to pay a visit soon to bring more happiness and vitality to that place. The volunteer trip was beyond my expectation, and I realized that life is only meaningful when I know how to help people around me.
