A soccer match consists of two half of 45 minutes each, and there is a small break of 15 minutes before both teams entering the second half. If there is no goal in that official time, they need to play for another extra time, which consists of two other 15 - minute periods. If there is still no goal in that time, the players then enter the penalty shootouts. Some years ago, my husband and I travelled through a small town in Italy near the Alps. We had not prepared ourselves with even a passing knowledge of the language. The savvy shop keeper immediately lead us outside and grabbed several young boys, all the while expounding to them in Italian our predicament. With raised eyebrows she questioned if this child was similar in size to our sons. Returning to her shop, the good-natured boys served as mannequins for several soccer shirts until we made our selection. We bought two shirts as the boys smiled, waved and returned to the street. To this day, our now 40-year old son remembers the shirt emblazoned with the name of an English soccer team for which he has become an ardent fan.

Phong Nha Cave is a world heritage site.The full name of that cave is Phong Nha-Ke Bang belongs to Ke Bang mountains in Quang Binh. Phong Nha-Ke Bang area is noted for its cave and grotto systems as it is composed of 300 caves and grottos, of which only 20 have been surveyed by Vietnamese and British scientists; 17 of these are in located in the Phong Nha area and three in the Ke Bang area. Phong Nha holds several world cave records, as it has the longest underground river, as well as the largest caverns and passageways.
The park derives its name from Phong Nha cave, the most beautiful of all, containing many fascinating rock formations, and Ke Bang forest. The plateau on which the park is situated is probably one of the finest and most distinctive examples of a complex karst landform in Southeast Asia. This national park was listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites in 2003.
Last summer, I went to Cua Lo with my family. We went there by car, it is very far from my house, it is about 400 km, so we were very tired, but at one we felt better when we saw the sea.
