While I am still in my beautiful years of youth, I choose to live a useful life instead of a lazy one. Many young people just want to go home and watch TV, or they love to spend their free time to sleep without doing anything else. For me, I decided to become a volunteer in order to help other people with my ability. Last summer, my school volunteer group visited a nursing home for the elderly artists. When we came, those seniors were very happy because they might see us as their grandchildren. After greeting them, we started to clean up the inner house and the yard. We brought out the old broken stuffs then painted the wall in a brighter color. Another group made sure the yard was free of trash and pile of unnecessary things. We also planted a tree in the corner of the yard so people in the nursing home could have some shade on the sunny day. There were about a hundred of us, so we finished all of our tasks in just one day. In the evening, some of the old ladies cooked some delicious dishes for us, and we had a small party before we headed home. We give them the presents that we had prepared in advance, and we even performed some of our silly dancing and singing skills. They also prepared a small play for us, and we felt that their passion for art was never faded. We had great time together, and the nursing had a better appearance thanks to all of our efforts. When we packed our stuffs to go home, the attachment of those seniors even made some of us cry. We promised to pay a visit soon to bring more happiness and vitality to that place. The volunteer trip was beyond my expectation, and I realized that life is only meaningful when I know how to help people around me.

I am a volunteer so I have done many things for the community service. Last month, I raised money and funds for the poor, and they were very hapy. I also donated books and clothes for the children. My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and participate in the inter-school competitions.
To me, one of my best friends is Nam. Nam is 18 years old. He has black hair, a broad forehead, a straight nose and bright eyes. He is very good-looking. He has a kind heart and is easy to get on with everybody. We have been friends for a very long time. The deeper our mutual understanding becomes the more we feel closely attached to each other. Nam and I are keen on learning. We are the best pupils in our class. Nam is always at the top. He is good at every subject, but he never shows pride in his abilities and always tries to learn harder. Nam’s family is not rich enough. His parents are retired workers. I like Nam very much because of his honesty and straight forwardness. He is always ready to help his weak friends in their study. In my relation with Nam, I have got precious experience: thirst for learning, patience to overcome difficulties, helpfulness and filial piety.
I want to provide food, clothes and blankets for street children. I want to do it because I want to share the things I have with children who are in need. I hope no child will be hungry and cold. I will cook food and bring it to street children on the weekends. I will also encourage my friends to donate clothes and blankets to them.

School is a place of learning and getting trained for professional and social life. My school is located in the center of my city. On the side of the school, there is a big garden. In my daily life, in addition to class lessons and activities at home, I also participate in community activities.
