Vietnam is famous for its several holiday and festival, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar until at least the third day. Although occurring in short period of time, it is believed to be the most important and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special food are made so as to prepare for Tet meal such as: sky square cake, Vietnamese sausage, sky rice and jam. The food is thought to reflect Vietnam’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has other dishes fish, vegetable to show the hope for a successful and prosperous new year. In term of customs, children’s receiving red envelop from the elder, visiting relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is thought to bring children hope and health. Church is the symbol of peace; therefore, individual go there and pray for successive year. Traditionally, the house is designed with peach flower in the North and Ochna integerrima in the south part of Vietnam. Besides, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all are ready to start a new year. People have cozy atmosphere and enjoy joyful time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living at different parts of country gathering and spending time together. Tet is a chance for one to come back home after many stress and pressure of studying and working environment. Tet is not simply a holiday, it is culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and important. All in all, Tet includes not only joy but also long-standing event in people’s soul as it helps one grow up through experience.

It started 3 days ago.My family and I decided to go to Ha Noi to blow off some steam. It is the first time that we go there. We started at the Old Quarter. There were various types of delicious food for us to try. My favorite dish was the famous beef pho. I found a lot of shops that sell unique After that, we saw the Sword Lake and the Turtle Tower. I had Trang Tien ice cream and it was so yummy! We also got to see the Temple of Literature and learned about the history of examinations in the past. It was an eye-opener for our family. Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked,offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.

Tet holiday is the special days in Vietnam. It's time to each family remember their ancestors.
Before Tet comes, my family as well as others, we always do house works to welcome a new year appears. Besides, Chung or Tet is the traditional cake of Vietnam. Chung presents for the North, and Tet features for the South and the middle. We stay overnight to cook cake and talk about a previous year, review the memorable moments before that. This time is so special. At 00h o'clock, everybody countdown to say happy new year. My morther usually worship to invite ancestor come home. eveybody call eachother to wish a year with happy, success, health.
after, we go to the others family or ralative relationship to visit eveyone in Tet holiday. we take the blossom or cherry flower to decorate our house to sake up luck.

Traditional Tet is one of the most important festivals of Vietnam. Just in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. Traditional New Year's Day is called Lunar New Year or Lunar New Year, and is considered the most important moment of a year. The time starts on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the new year. The Lunar New Year usually falls between the end of January and the middle of February of a calendar year. Normally in Vietnam, every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. And yet, on the traditional New Year's Day, there is also a custom to visit the elderly, family members, friends and neighbors every time Tet comes. At that time, homeowners or adults will give lucky money to children and elders with wishes at the beginning of the new year of peace, prosperity, and everything as desired. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone .

Every year winter passed, carrying the cold of it, is bustling around preparing to welcome a fresh flowers next spring. And of course, the yellow apricot trees loaded with fresh flowers sunny Southern fibers with bright pink peach trees bring beauty cold tender for the domain are two indispensable.
Did not know how now, beautiful golden apricot trees appeared before me at home. Just remember that brief, his grandfather brought it on when going out New Year market.
