In March 1999, Amyr Klink, a Brazilian yachtsman and polar adventurer, became the first man to circle Antarctica while staying south of 50 degrees latitude. The large movement of earth under the water causes a very large and powerful tsunami. The tsunami was called the Asian Tsunami in most of the world.
