Microsoft mới đây cũng đưa ra thông báo ngừng tất cả hỗ trợ của mình trên Windows 7. Sau ngày 14/1/2020 sắp tới đây, mọi hỗ trợ về kỹ thuật và cập nhật các chương trình bảo mật trên phiên bản hệ điều hành này sẽ chấm dứt. Điều này có nghĩa là những cập nhật về bảo mật máy cũng sẽ không còn xuất hiện trên Windows 7 nữa.
