RULES (quy tắc)

1 We use the (1) past continuous for longer actions in progress and the (2) past simple for shorter actions. (Chúng ta sử dụng quá khứ tiếp diễn cho các hành động dài hơn đang diễn ra và quá khứ đơn cho các hành động ngắn hơn. 2 We often use when before the (3) past simple and while before the (4) past continuous.
