1. Đặt $x^2+x=a$ thì pt trở thành:

$a^2+4a=12$
$\Leftrightarrow a^2+4a-12=0$

$\Leftrightarrow  (a-2)(a+6)=0$

$\Leftrightarrow a-2=0$ hoặc $x+6=0$

$\Leftrightarrow x^2+x-2=0$ hoặc $x^2+x+6=0$

Dễ thấy $x^2+x+6=0$ vô nghiệm.

$\Rightarrow x^2+x-2=0$

$\Leftrightarrow (x-1)(x+2)=0$
