One of my favorite things is to be texting with friends. It helps me relax after strenuous lessons, helps me understand my friends and helps us to become closer. I also love to read books, they not only help me relax but also help me gain new knowledge, help me better every day.

Nowadays TV is one of the most popular means of entertainment and relaxation. We can see many programs on the TV: educational programs, films, cartoons, news, and so on. Some programs on TV that I have watched are Tom and Jerry, Pokemon, BBC news, etc. My favorite TV program is "The road to Olympia" :). It's a competition between geniuses, watching them answer many interesting questions fastly makes me admire them. Depending on my spare time, I watch TV. To me, watching TV is a way to relax my mind.

I love food, so it is hard to think of just one favourite sort. However, if I had to choose, I can think of something that I to have as a special treat from time to time. I’m going to tell you what the food is, how it is made, why I it so much and explain to you what makes it my favourite food and maybe even convince you that you would it just as much as well – if you haven’t already discovered it for yourself.
The food is quite simple. I’ve always thought of it as a Greek speciality, although others tell me it actually originates from Egypt. Can you guess what it is? Houmous. I love it. The food is spelt differently in American English – they call it hummus and in British English, we spell it with an ‘o’ and a ‘u’ as opposed to just the ‘u’ but the recipe is the same in either case.
Basically, it is made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic. It is popular throughout the Middle East (including Turkey), North Africa (including Morocco), and in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe, but it is also extremely popular with me, although I’m very parular about the sort I buy. I live near a wonderful delicatessen, it is run by a friendly couple, he is Italian and she is vintage Yorkshire. They make their own houmous with only the finest quality virgin olive oil and huge quantities of the best fresh garlic they can get hold of. It’s pretty expensive, but I love it, and it’s better than my own attempts for some reason, I don’t know why it shouldn’t be so hard to make.
Why do I it? I think it is partly the texture, and partly the taste, I love garlic. Also, because I’m vegetarian it is a very healthy food, with lots of protein and quality fats that are good for you. Of course, you can have too much of a good thing, but I think it’s well worth it.
It is my favourite food not only because it is absolutely delicious, but also because you can share it with other people. It is best eaten as a dip, with friends. I cut up lots of carrots, cucumber and celery into crudités carefully sliced to make a colourful dish, perhaps with some slices of warm pitta bread too. A nice bottle of white wine helps. We can then all sit together enjoying the fresh humous dip, sipping our glasses of wine and laughing and talking to put the world to rights. It is a great way to enjoy a fabulous food.

How are you? I hope that you are well. Thanks for your letter which you sent for me last week. I am writing this letter to tell you about my favorite place to eat. I would like eat at home than anywhere because of mainly several reasons.Firstly, eating at home is cheaper and more qualitative. For example, when I eat in restaurant, I have to pay not only cuisine but also the chef. Furthermore, it is not make sure that food is delicious. Food is not cooked carefully as well because more and more restaurants pay attention to profit which they are received. Finally, eating at home can create warm atmosphere of family. My mother is a main chef of family and I help her cut vegetable, wash fish and something like that. Sometimes,my brother also help them. My father like the most food which my mother make. Besides, I feel very happy when my family eat together. In short, family meal is both save money, have quality and increase cohesion among member of family. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello everyone! My name is Linh. I am twelve years old. My favourite programme is Mr. Bean on Cartoon Network. It on at 8 a.m and 7 p.m . In this programme, there are characters as Mr. Bean, Teddy, Irma Gobb, Mrs. Wicket- hostess of Bean and Scrapper Cat. Mr. Bean has a blue car and he love it so much. He has many trouble but he very kind. Teddy is Teddy Bear and Bean is best friend. Irma Gobb is girl friend of Bean. Scrapper hates people, especially Bean. Even so, it still pretends to love Mrs. Wicket. I this programme because I learn English and many useful lessons. I enjoy this cartoon.

Reading book is one of my favorite things. It help me in communication, thought, living…in my life. In my book, there is a love story book I best.
It was written in quite recently. I read it when I was a 16- girl student. Its name is Oxford thuong yeu. It was written by Duong Thuy. Author is a women who used to go many countries such as UK, France, Germany, Italy, Holland…This book write about a love story between 2 person. They studied together at Oxford University. The girl ia a Vietnamese student, the boy works as a learing support assitant there. It is long but it is really very exciting. In the first meeting, they have a friendly impression. However, after a long time of challenges, they also found their love.At the end, their wedding is taken place and they got back to Vietnamese to work together. It very well written.This book is not only a love story but also fills with many experiences for me as you. Experiences about learning, living, relatives and love of everyone in story.Because this reason, I this book best. You really think you are there.
