When I studied at the secondary school, I often visited Hue city every summer, it is my birthland and I am very proud of Hue city. Hue is not a large city but it is peaceful and quiet. There are many historical vestiges in this city. Every year, there are thousands of tourists visiting Hue and they are very pleasure, attractive by Hue’s beauties and people. Hue people are very friendly, open-hearted and have sweet voice.
If you have a chance to travel, choose Hue city to visit. In the early morning, viewing the sun rising outside the sea is very interesting. It will be unfortunate if you do not go around to gaze at the Royal Citadel where the kings lived and many historical events happened. The Royal Citadel’s interior is vast, you will be surprised by not only its large area but also its architecture. I'm writing from the most beautiful and incredible place in the world that I have ever seen during my 15-year career as a travel writer in more
than 70 countries. I'm writing to you from Ha Long Bay in Vietnam.
There is a saying that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you have not yet been to Vietnam. I say that if you have not visited Ha Long Bay you
have not yet seen the most beautiful place in the world.
180 km from Hanoi City, towards the northeast, it takes around 4 hours by bus due to the speed limit, and then you will arrive to Ha Long City
and the wonderful Ha Long Bay.
1969 limestone islands of various shapes, sizes, and in different green and amazing colors rise above the sea level in an area of more than 1,500
square kilometers that creates this World Heritage site. Ha Long Bay still retains its historical and culture values.
The guide told me that Ha Long Bay has been twice recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994 and 2000, and also that Ha Long
Bay is in second place in the worldwide competition of the World’s Seven Natural Wonders. I told him that before all, God has given the
Vietnamese people this wonder for their kindness.
Ha Long Bay is as attractive and beautiful throughout the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Traveling on small sailboats among
hundreds of limestone islands, one may visit the amazing Surprise Cave, the floating fishing village, and see how the locals live are top of the list

This travel guide is for people who want to visit Ha Long Bay, one of the seven natural wonders in the world. Ha Long Bay is located in Quang Ninh province which is in the north of Vietnam. It is nearly 200km from Hanoi. So it takes you about 4 hours by car. You can also travel there in a coach or even in a helicopter on Saturday. The best season to visit Ha Long is in summer when the weather is warm and sunny. Ha Long Bay has many beautiful caves and islands; therefore, you must take a boat trip to enjoy the view here. You certainly must take pictures to remember the trip better, too. If you are an active person, you must do the water sports here like swimming, sailing, and windsurfing. One more thing, you must try the seafood here because it is incredibly fresh and delicious. With this travel guide, I hope that you will have a wonderful time here in the number one natural wonder of Vietnam.

Đất nước hình chữ S nhỏ bé của chúng ta có rất nhiều địa điểm du lịch độc đáo và nổi tiếng. Tự hào được thiên nhiên ưu ái, nước Việt Nam ta có rất nhiều bãi biển, vũng vịnh tuyệt đẹp. Có thể kể đến rất nhiều những địa điểm như thế. Nhưng không thể nào thiếu Vịnh Hạ Long.
Hạ long là cái tên tự hào của người Việt Nam. Được UNESCO công nhận là bảy kì quan thiên nhiên đẹp nhất thế giới, Vịnh Hạ Long đã góp phần không nhỏ vào việc xây dựng hình ảnh đẹp của chúng ta trong mắt bạn bè quốc tế. Vịnh Hạ Long nằm ở vùng Đông Bắc Việt Nam thuộc một phần của vịnh Bắc Bộ. Vịnh Hạ Long thuộc tỉnh Quảng Ninh – Việt Nam bao gồm vùng biển của thành phố Hạ Long, thị xã Cẩm Phả, và một phần của huyện đảo Vân Đồn. Phía tây nam vịnh giáp đảo Cát Bà, phía đông là biển, phần con lại giáp đất liền với đường bờ biển dài 120 km với tổng diện tích 1553 km2. Vinh Hạ Long gồm 1969 hòn đảo lớn nhỏ. Đảo ở đây có hai loại là đảo đá vôi và đảo phiếm thạch tập trung ở Bái Tử Long và vịnh Hạ Long. Ở đây, chúng ta có thể tham gia chiêm ngưỡng hàng loạt những hang động đẹp, nổi tiếng. Vùng di sản thiên nhiên được UNESCO công nhận có diện tích 434 km2 gồm 775 đảo. Phần thiên nhiên được công nhận này như một hình tam giác với 3 đỉnh là đảo Đầu Gỗ ở phía Tây, hồ Ba Hầm ở phía nam và đảo Cống Tây ở phía đông. Sự độc đáo của vịnh Hạ Long chính là hình dáng, đạc điểm của những hòn đảo nhỏ ấy. Các hang động đẹp cũng là điểm nhấn lớn của Hạ Long. Từng đảo, từng đảo quần tụ lại nhìn xa cứ như lớp lớp chồng lên nhau, tiến lại gần thì như xen kẽ nhau tạo thành một quần thể đẹp đến lạ lùng. Phải tự hào chúng ta được tạo hóa ưu ái. Từng đảo của vịnh không mang những đẹp mà còn mang hình hài của vạn vật. Từ hòn Trống Mái, hòn Ông Sư, hòn Lã Vọng rồi đến đảo Tuần Châu, hang Trinh Nữ….
Vịnh Hạ Long không chỉ đẹp bởi đảo đá, núi đá, hang động, mà còn đẹp bởi nước biển ở đây. Nước biển rất trong xanh. Chính vì thế mà du khách tới đây thường để tắm biển và ngắm đảo, hang động. Tên gọi Vịnh Hạ Long có từ thời Pháp thuộc. Trước đây vịnh có tên là Lục Châu, Lục Hải. Thời nhà Lý, vịnh có tên là Hải Châu. Đến thời vua Trần, Lê được gọi bằng các tên như: An BAng, Vân Đồn, Ngọc Sơn, Lục Thủy. Tên của vịnh được thay đổi nhiều qua các thời kỳ. Cái tên vịnh Hạ Lọng xuất phát từ truyền thuyết Rồng đáp xuống bảo vệ chúng ta khỏi lũ giạc ngoại xâm. Theo nghĩa HÁn Việt "Long" là rồng, "hạ" là đáp xuống. Cái tên Hạ Long chính là để nhắc về truyền thuyết này. Vịnh Hạ Long được vinh danh là kì quan thiên nhiên thế giới không chỉ bằng vẻ đẹp mà còn bởi nhiều yếu tố khác. Chẳng hạn như, ở nơi đây có rất nhiều địa danh khảo cổ học nổi tiếng: Đồng Mang, Soi Nhụ, Thoi Giếng… Nó đã chứng minh, Hạ Long là cái nôi của nền văn minh con người thời kỳ Hậu đồ đá. Hơn hết, ở đây còn có sự đa dạng sinh học bậc nhất. Với sự tập trung của nhiều loài động thực vật đặc trưng cho từng kiểu hệ sinh thái: hệ sinh thái rừng ngập mặn, hệ sinh thái rặng san hô, hệ sinh thái rừng cây nhiệt đới… cùng với hàng ngàn loài động vật biển quý hiếm chỉ có ở vịnh Hạ Long. Điểm quan trọng không kém của vịnh Hạ Long này chính là nó gắn liền với nhiều giai thoại lịch sử của dân tộc, với nhiều chiến công chống giặc ngoại xâm lẫy lững của các vị tướng anh hùng. Có thể kể đến: chiến thắng sông Bạch Đằng lẫy lừng năm xưa.
Một kì quan thiên nhiên, một dấu ấn lịch sử. Fisherman's Whart is a historic marketplace on the seafront with trendy restaurants , shops and street performances . Visit Ghirardelli Square , home to the amazing Ghirardelli ice Cream and Chocolate Shop , and Pier 39 , a lively marketplace with shops , restaurants and music . From here you can take the cruise around the Bay .

The Perfume River ( sông hương)
The Perfume River has two sources; both begin in the Dãy Trường Sơn mountain range and meet at Bằng Lãng Fork. The Tả Trạch (left tributary) originates in the Trường Đồng mountains and flows northwest towards the fork. The river then flows in south-north direction past the temples of Hòn Chén and Ngọc Trản, then flows north-west, meandering through the Nguyệt Biều and Luong Quan plains. Continuing on, the Sông Hương (Hương River) flows to the northeast to Huế and passes the resting place of the Nguyễn emperors. The river continues, passing Hen islet and various villages, crossing the Sinh junction (capital of ancient Châu Hóa) before emptying into the Tam Giang lagoon. When the night comes, the surface of the river glistens under the moonlight, and the songs of the boat rowers can be heard breaking the silence. Hoi An is an ancient town down the Thu Bon River, on the coastal plain of Quang Nam Province, for about 30 km south of Da Nang City. Hoi An used to be known as the international market with many different names such as Lam Ap, Faifo, Hoai Pho and Hoi An is the most common one now.
What is special about Hoi An is that this little port town is in an incredible state of preservation. It includes some of the most densely-concentrated sights in Viet Nam with its old streets which are bordered with ancient houses and assembly halls, its pagodas, temples, ancient wells and tombs. In total, there are more than a thousand places of interest. The architecture in Hoi An is characterized by a harmonious blend of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese culture. After many centuries, Hoi An is still respectful of its traditions, folk festivals, beliefs and of its sophisticated culinary art. Located in a quiet environment, Hoi An is surrounded by peaceful villages famous for crafts such as carpentry, bronze making, ceramic…
Researchers said that most of the buildings in Hoi An underwent restoration at the beginning of the 19th century, even if some of them might be constructed long time ago. The ancient architecture is shown most clearly in the Ancient Town that is located in Minh An Ward. It covers about 2 square kilometers and almost of all famous relics in Hoi An are gathered here. The streets are very short and narrow, having a winding, crossing as the chessboard style. The topography of the ancient town tilt gradually from north to south. The buildings in the old town are built mostly with traditional materials such as: brick, wood and no more than two floors. The trace of time is able to find not only on the architectural design of each building but also everywhere like: on the yin-yang roof tiles covered with moss and plants; the old gray mold walls; the pictures carved on a strange animal, or describing an old story… Having inherited a multi-cultural architecture which is so varied and sophisticated, Hoi An must have attracted numerous and talented workers in carpentry, ceramics, and woodcarving from China, Japan and other regions of Viet Nam.
For centuries, Hoi An had developed into a melting pot of various nationalities who came to the area, and brought along their own cultures. Accordingly, Hoi An features the co-existence of indigenous customs and habits and those imported by foreign settlers.
