1. Hobby
I have many hobbies, but I like reading most. Books are always a good friend to me. It is a good way to improve my vocabulary by exposing many new words. By reading, I get better at concentration because it requires me to focus on what I am reading for long periods of time. It also opens up the knowledge door for me. Reading books tells me about the world’s history, let me see the structure of the human body, or bring me a story of Sherlock Holmes. I think reading is one of the most interesting indoors activities.

My hobbies are listening to music, watching films and travelling. I love many kinds of music; especially, when I fill myself with the sorrow, I love the songs which can share my sadness. I also like watching some US sitcoms such as: How I met your mother, Once upon a time, Sabrina. Additionally, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places with plentiful cuisines and nature, especially walking along the beach in the dusk that make me comfortable and peaceful.

Let me tell you about my best friend.Her name is Minh.She is 13 years old.She is short but she's very beautiful.She has long black hair with big eyes and black glasses.She has a round face and full lips.She is very kind and funny.Sometimes,she's talkative and crazy.And,she is confident.She likes playing badminton and listening to music.Her favourite subject is English.She can speak English fluently.She doesn't like Maths because it's difficult for her.Sometimes,Minh makes me angry.But,when I am sad,she often makes me laugh.She's special to me because I really love her.I hope we will be best friends forever!

=> In my holiday, my mom surprised my brother and I with a train trip to the nation's capital - washington DC. We departed at night and woke up the next morning somewhere in Virginia. Looking at beautiful sight of the mountains while enjoying breakfast.
I had my 15th birthday while on this vacation and the crew said "Happy Birthday" to me every time they saw me.
My grandmother often shared stories of how she rode the rails back in the 60's as this was the most common way to travel back then. This trip gave me the opportunity to share my story with her as well. This trip brought my family closer. I will never forget it.

I am a student, so every summer, I usually come back to my country. Last summer is my most memorable one . I had studied at university in Ho Chi Minh City for four years but I had not met my old friend for a long time. I missed them very much so I decided to organize a party to meet my friend. It was wonderful. Most of them attended the party. We talked about the memories which we spent together. I told them about my dream, about troubles and happiness. The following day, we went to picnic at the beach and climed up a mountain....I love my friends very much.

The term community service refers to a donated activity or service carried out by a person or a group of people for the benefit and well being of the general public. Individuals who offer community service are known as volunteers. However, those are required to do so by the school, the government or a court cannot be termed as volunteers, since they are not doing the service out of their own will. People are involved in community service for different reasons and it is up to the individual to realize if it is worthwhile and why they are helping others. This article looks into some of the main beneficial aspects of community service.
Community service has now grown to be a vehicle for bringing a nation together. It is like the central point of a country, as there is a key importance on doing good for others. Every country wants its people to be disciplined and work for change. Community service comes at handy as it is the best way to inculcate this sense of responsibility to individuals. To attach an extra dimension to the aspect of reform, the judicial systems in many countries have recognized the importance of community service by handing over such projects to law breakers.
In addition, by participating in community service, children and teenagers are introduced to good values and morals. Values such as humbleness, gratefulness, honesty, sincerity and respect are among the important virtues that one can acquire from helping the community. The importance of community service eventually relies on how the provider perceives it. These programs are intended to inculcate a sense of community and civic engagement in people. The more hours people spend doing community work, the more the service will help them in realizing their educational, social and developmental goals.

Tầm quan trọng của dịch vụ cộng đồng cuối cùng phụ thuộc vào cách nhà cung cấp nhận thức về nó. Các chương trình này nhằm khắc sâu ý thức cộng đồng và sự gắn bó của công dân trong mọi người. Mọi người càng dành nhiều giờ để thực hiện công việc cộng đồng, dịch vụ sẽ càng giúp họ thực hiện các mục tiêu giáo dục, xã hội và phát triển của họ.

Mai is my classmate. Her hobby is listening to music. All things she needs are headphones. She can listen by computer. She searches the Internet the name of the song. She clicks the song she hear and starts to hear. It's easy but comfortable, so she share it with her friend.

Among my favourite sports and hobbies, I like swimming the best for several reasons. Firstly, I think playing in the water could bring great joy. It also helps reduce căng thẳng and I always feel refreshed and relaxed after swimming for about half an hour. Secondly, swimming is an excellent way to keep myself fit and healthy. It helps build up my muscle strength and prevent many heart and lung diseases. Finally, besides being a great sport, swimming is also an important survival skill, because without knowing how to swim well, it could be dangerous if there is a flood, or simply if we want to play near bodies of water. Many of such accidents have occured to teenagers lately. In conclusion, swimming will always be my preferred hobby because it is not only healthy and fun but also a life-saving skill.
