There are five of us in my family. I don’t have any siblings. I would have d a sister. I am the only child. My mother’s name is Mai, and she is 50 years old. She is a beautiful woman with long black hair. My Dad’s name is Trung. He is tall and very strong. His job is doctor. We all have a busy lives in day. However in the evening after dinner, we sit together in the living-room talking, sometimes watching a funny movie. My father plays with me on weekends and he teaches me cycling and swimming. My mother makes delicious food for me and also plays with me when she gets time. She also teaches me little cooking. During weekends, we spent time together and sometimes we go for an outing or a movie and enjoy our weekends. On working days, though they are busy, they try spending time with us and looking after our homework and other day to day activities.

People say: Family where life begins and love never ends. There is only love from the bottom of the heart that could realize the meaning of that saying. My family is made up of 3 people: my mother, my younger brother and I. My parents have been divorced for 10 years. Since the pain that my mother had to suffer is too big so she doesn’t get married again and she has tried her best to take care of us. My mother’s main job is a pilot at Vietnam Airlines. Her flights could last for a few days or even a week. Sometimes we only meet her at the weekend. But my mother did hire an old house maid who is very careful and nice to take care of me and my brother while she is busy at work. We always look forward to receiving mother’s gifts after a flight. Left all the mess behind, my mother becomes a strong woman that she couldn't even imagine before. About my younger brother, he is the most mischievous person that I have ever known. Last semester, my brother’s teacher came to see my mother three times a week to complain about the things that he had done. However, he is very good at swimming. In addition, he is one of ten excellent students in school. That’s why my mother is always tolerant of his bad behaviours. In the opposite of my brother, I am quite staid and taciturn. But we are still very close and think about each other as a best friend. That makes my mother so happy. Now, I am no longer at home, I moved to Ho Chi Minh 2 months ago to study at university. I feel lucky myself when I was born in a happy family with 4 people. They are my parents, my younger brother and me. My father is 53 years old. My name is Quang, and I am the only son in my family. I am a 4th – year law student, and I am currently studying in Ho Chi Minh City. My little family has four people, and we live in Vinh Long province. The house is always filled with my dad’s laughter, my mother’s warm voice and my sister’s playfulness.
My father is a retired police officer, and he is working as a defense education teacher in our local high school. Perhaps he had to due with years of hard training in the military; my father is finally comfortable to show his humor in the teaching environment. In the first look, he is a tough man; but actually he is very emotional and funny. Dad is a solid pillar and a great spiritual supporter for the whole family.

Nhìn bề ngoài, bố là người cứng rắn nhưng bên trọng lại sống rất tình cảm và vui vẻ. Bố là trụ cột vững chắc và là điểm tựa tinh thần lớn lao cho cả gia đình.
Khác với bố, mẹ tôi là người phụ nữ dịu dàng nhưng có phần nghiêm khắc. Như rất nhiều người phụ nữ khác, mẹ tôi luôn quan tâm và hi sinh những điều tốt nhất cho anh em tôi. Với chúng tôi, mẹ vừa là người bạn thân vừa là người dẫn dắt trong học tập và cả những chuyện riêng tư.
Em gái tôi chuẩn bị vào cấp 3. Cô bé học rất giỏi và luôn được nhà trường khen thưởng. Nó đã bắt đầu ra dáng một thiếu nữ chứ không còn như một con khỉ nhỏ luôn bám lấy tôi như những năm trước.
